Donos waits quietly while Rhaecus finishes the rites. He may not know them or have been much for attendance in the temples, but he knows enough that he can see what they mean to Rhaecus.
Once the satyr is finished, Donos turns and heads back up the tunnel they had come down.
"Likely this," Arteusa says, gesturing to the graves. "I have never given much concern to the rites of those I kill, as such is the way of war," she shrugs, but is glad she helped, in the end. "Now, let us go back and find another way through."
Kaneís stretches and yawns as rises. ”About time. The rocks here aren’t quite suited for resting,” she says, lazily trawling after Donos down the path they had come.
(I assume we are retracing our steps and heading down one of the tunnels we had come by. Was there enough time for a short rest while Rhaecus and Arteusa were creating graves? Should’ve asked beforehand in retrospect.)
(Oh, I missed that you actually said you made graves. Yeah, no, the ground here is solid stone. You could definitely pile up a bunch of rocks on them, though, but digging don't exist. Since digging existn't, it wouldn't really take all that long, probably not enough for a short rest, sorry.)
(Oh, also, wacky thing that I totally remembered to say, the time it takes to rest is halved, short rests being 30 minutes, and long rests being four hours. But still, the dead body stuff wouldn't take that long, unless you all wanted them to, then go right ahead.)

"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
Rhaecus smiles, though it is a bit forced. Perhaps the collective disregard for kindness has him a little bummed. "I do believe in sparing kindness where possible especially if it costs us nothing. Thank you for indulging me, and thank you for the help on their behalf, Arteusa. Now then, I shall take a look at the last branching path we passed. If there is danger, I will warn you either quietly or by terrified screaming ahead. Heh."
Nonetheless he heads off again, doing his part as a scout though the darkness can hide danger easily as they had just found out.
The passage curves down and to the left for a while, and is littered with many tiny stones, as well as one large boulder, which you have to awkwardly clamber over or around. Finally, it opens up into a large, square chamber, which is home to a whole lot of rubble, and little else. The floor and walls are severely cracked, and there are many chunks missing, where the chunks of rock on the ground most likely once resided. Across the chamber, there is a large set of doors that appear to be made of stone, and there also appears to be some sort of tunnel leading off from the corner to the left of the doors, accessed through a smallish, ragged hole in the wall.

"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
Donos strides through the room, one eye occasionally looking upward, half expecting more rubble to fall. The afterlife appears to be in desperate need of maintenance he thinks to himself.
Once at the doors, he looks them up and down. Then he turns back to the others.
"I would normally just push a set of doors open, but I am feeling a little out of my depth here. Do we knock first?" he asks.
Arteusa walks up, studying the doors, before looking over towards the hole in the wall. "Is it wise to go through the doors? Perhaps we should take the less direct approach?"
Nothing happens as Donos and Kaneís enter the room, but as Arteusa adds her considerable weight to the mix, a loud crunching, crumbling sound can be heard as the cracks on the floor widen and lengthen, and a large section of the floor begins to collapse downwards!
Donos, Kaneís, and Arteusa, please make a Dex save.

"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Donos realizes what's happening in time and manages to scramble out of the collapsing section of floor, but Kaneís and Arteusa are not as lucky, and they fall alongside the crumbling floor, taking 3 bludgeoning damage.
When the dust clears, they find themselves in a bizarre area with strange, chaotically shaped walls, which are covered with irregular bumps and protrusions. It appears just odd, until they get a closer look, and realize that the walls of this place are entirely made of thousands upon thousands of human bones. Then, it stops being odd, and becomes just plain creepy.
"Ugh," Arteusa groans, picking herself up and looking around. "Kaneis? Are you alright?" she asks, concern coloring her tone. Then she gets a good look at the walls and the bones, a chill settling over her. "Well, this is far from pleasant."
Donos climbs down the rubble to where Arteusa and Kaneis are. As he clambers down he looks more closely at the bones of the room. Why bones he wonders? And where did they come from? Are they true bones or this afterlife version that seems to hold his body together.
Kaneís picks herself up, wincing from the impact. “I’m fine; thank you for asking. I have ways to keep myself well. You?” she responds to Arteusa. Glancing around, she is less concerned with the surprising array of bones that line the walls, and is more interested with how the group will find their way back up. “Do either of you have a rope?” she asks, looking at the two Satyrs above.
(Is the cave a room / are there exits, or is it more similar to a pit?)
"All fine," Arteusa answers, "just my pride bruised." Falling through a floor, of all things. She sighs, turning to look up towards the opening above. "Getting back up there is going to be a chore," she mutters, making a face. Leaving them to figure it out, she gingerly moves around to look at the room, trying to discern what she can of it.

Kaneís rolls her eyes and gives a short, annoyed sigh before wandering over near the hole in the wall. “I doubt anyone would be expecting visitors.”
