Rhaecus grins at their misfortune, though that doesn't distract him from tying one end of his rope to a sturdy anchor and lowering the other down. "Yes, yes. One coil of rope, as requested."
Looking at Arteusa and the dark passageways around them, she shrugs. This looks like a place Zaela would be comfortable in. “I cannot imagine climbing is easy for you. Would you prefer to explore these makeshift catacombs?”
Arteusa looks up then around before nodding. "Yes, I would, I think; if you have never had to hoist a centaur before, it is...quite the job," she snorts, lips twisting in something of a self-deprecating smile. "Besides, I find myself interested in these strange passageways."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
That way extends straight for quite a while, the room retaining the same relatively uniform shape, unlike the half collapsed caves above. Before you reach any sort of room, however, your walking is interrupted by a skeletal hand shooting out of the wall, attempting to grab(10) Donos by the arm.
Donos, roll athletics or acrobatics if you wish to escape the hand's grasp.
Donos pulls back, and the skeletal arm pops right out of the wall. It lets go of the triton and flails around on the ground for a bit before skittering back into the wall.

"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
Kaneís crouches and looks at the space where the bone merged back into the wall. "Poor thing. It could have been attempting to say hello." She shrugs and stands back up, moving closer to the center of the hallway.
Arteusa makes a face at the skeletal hand as it scuttles back into the wall, following suit with the others and moving closer to the center, though with her bulk, it hardly matters. "What exactly is our purpose here, again," she asks, looking around. "Are we trying to make it back to the mortal realm? Can we even walk there again?"
Zaela scowls at Artuesa's obliviousness, trying to hold back a bit to avoid offending her companion, but speaks in a sarcastic tone, "Yes, we obviously are trying to make it back up to the real world. I'm not sure if this is the right way, but it seems good enough for me. So far we've encountered one skeleton arm, and up there was a dead end and whatever those shamblers are. You want to go back before we take this path as far as it goes, that's fine by me, but I actually want to see where this leads. If it's not to the surface, it's highly likely it will be to a place where we can get help or 'directions.'"

Zaela flinches a bit when she sees the floor collapse from under Artuesa and Kaneis's feet (hooves), but overall doesn't look surprised.
"Well," She comments, "At least we know what to expect for the rest of these ruins. Also, bones for walls? So cliché. I expected more of Tartarus."

The room appears to be wide passageway, as it extends in opposite ways, out into the darkness.

Donos looks up at the two still above. "Are you coming down?"
He nods down one direction of the long corridor.
"I believe we are going to continue our adventure down here."
"Maybe this is the Labyrinth," Zaela comments as she climbs down the into the hole in the ground, "Does anyone have a ball of yarn?"

“Oh... Joy. A pit of many bones, my favorite." Rhaecus jumps down after the others, leaving his rope there for now.

As Donos examines the wall, he sees a hand burst out and try to grab on to him. He dodges to the side, readies his shield and levels his trident.
Donos pulls back, and the skeletal arm pops right out of the wall. It lets go of the triton and flails around on the ground for a bit before skittering back into the wall.

Donos looks at the skeletal hand with suspicion, half expecting it to come back to life and lunge at him again.
"A wave would have been an adequate greeting," Donos says.
As he turns to follow with the rest after Rhaecus, like Kaneis, he moves closer to the center of the hallway.

Donos looks back to Arteusa as they walk.
"I believe as long as we do not partake in any food or water while we are on this plane, then yes, we can walk again among mortals."
He pauses and thinks for a moment more.
"Regardless of our destination, we are on a quest. And that is far better than sitting by that lake trying but failing to stave off boredom."
