I could see he was pulling the wool over your eyes but this....... this is unexpected. You lot still have a good relationship with it, maybe you can convince that thing to leave in peace. These fine men here are trained to deal with bandits and petty theft, there’s no sense in putting their lives at risk by angering it.”

Also could you all roll me a performance or deception check DC 10, anyone who fails is visibly acting odd, 3 out of 5 need to pass or the group is looking suspicious.
„Masthew, step away from the Kobold, they claim that he is dangerous.“ Venea has drawn her axes and she doesn‘t take her eyes of you. She also keeps the group of Kobolds in her view.
„What is the meaning of this? Trex, Kravek what is going on here?“ Mathew got up and steped away from Trex. The two guards and Captain Vanja also grabed their weapons, although they didn‘t draw them yet.
The most confused are the 5 Kobolds near the entrance.
„I don‘t know what he is talking about, that dwarf was the whole time against me, i don‘t know why. For some reason he seams to be holding a grudge against me. All i want is a save spot for my tribe, where we are protected from the elements“ 23 (he sounds very convincing)
Gilgin, in a panic, tries to act drunk. He stands up, swaying and pointing his finger at Trex slurring “Yes.... dangerous I said! He was flying over us, breathing fire! But our brave leader Kravek.... he stood up to him and bravely parlayed! Then the dragon shrunk into this it’s bitsy kobold!” He burps as he staggers over to Trex, arms outstretched. “Y’know Trex... I think (hic).... the reason I hated you is because..... we’re the same you know! And I was jealous that my new friends were liking you so much! Just, hey, just gimme a hug man, let’s hug it out!”

Vanea relaxes a little but still keeps an eye on you. Meanwhile Sedar and Dran got up to usher you out.
Kravek will stand up holding his arms halfway up to motion everyone to stay calm. He moves forward slowly arching around Venea but not passing her yet as he assumes she wont let him.
We did not come to fight, please lower your weapons. Gilgin and Trex have not really gotten along yet.
He takes moment to think.
Clearly we are all on edge. Having different races together will prove to be.. difficult as you see.
He takes another step. May i suggest we find a place for the kobolds away from the towns. We will escort them there personally since we already know them. That way we can ensure everyone's safety and only trouble ourselves.He does not press his luck and stays where he is, hoping to be close enough to jump in should anything happen. And making sure more eyes are on him then on Nyx hiding below the table. After all, we brought the kobolds here, it should be our task to make sure they arrive at their new home. Allow us this task as.. an apology for this disturbance.

Hifu who is standing next to Venea has not given up on a peaceful solution to this. He holds his arms up high (in a surrender manner) and says to her (and the room in general) "Venea, look at me. I will set down my weapons on this table and empty the pockets in my robe, look, I found a geode in the mine! I have nothing to hide. But my friend Gilgin back there is a priest, and he is getting a strong signal of evil from that creature over there, Trek, and specifically the sachel that he is carrying as well. If he has nothing to hide, have him empty the contents of his bag on this table and let's try to get to the bottom of this situation. We cleared out the mine for you, we have done what you ask, and we are trying to warn you of danger that we did not sense initially. If we knew this about him earlier, we would have never brought him to Termalaine. He is using these other Kobolds for his purposes, we have no problem with them, just Trek. Please believe me and look into it."

„THAT‘S ENOUGH! Everyone is under house arrest until we find out what is going on here!“ ,Masthew bellows. „Drop your weapons before i throw you in jail!“ he looks angrily at James. Trex tries to say something, but Masthew cuts him of: „Be quiet and get your people under control !“

As the guards and the captain draw their weapons, James does likewise.
He doesn't step forward, but his eye's are fixed on Trex with a hard look.
As Gilgin tries to pretend to be drunk and as his words enter James mind just before he can step out of range, James looks concerned and confused.
As the guards start to approach, to begin escorting the group away, and as Kravek tries to talk their way forward, James lets out a sigh of frustration.
Stepping forward, James lets out a bellowing shout.
"ENOUGH! Trex, stand where you are with your hands above your head!"
"If you even think of moving, I will attack you! Everyone else back away from that creature!"
James point his greatsword at Trex.
Nodding his head towards Gilgin, James continues.
"My friend has detected something evil emanating from that Kobold, and I will not let it alone with anyone!"
James is ready to make a run forward to engage Trex if he tries anything other than standing with his hands above his head or talking.
