((Trinjya, from the weight, it'd be 2 slots, but the contents likely would be only 1, if you've no wish for the urn and wanted to take the time to dump it out and see what's there. The magic signature is coming from inside.))

((You are not there, you are outside taunting some fish!))
Trinjya is thinking about opening the urn but decides against it. Stuff that is stored in urnes is usually easiest to be carried around in said urn. She will however take it out of the hut and respondes to Morn's question:
"It' s an urn of some kind. There is something in it which radiates with a faint magic energy of transmutational nature. I don't know what it is but magical stuff is always worth taking, there are clients for even the wierdest of things if magic is involved. Although I would prefere to know what it is rather sooner than later I see that we need to get moving and there is no more reason to linger here. So let's grab that urn and get going. It's just, well, ... a bit heavy so would one of you guy' s mind carrying it?"
((It will require two backpack slots, I know there were some rations consumed, but don't recall who has what available. The urn gives off a metallic clinking from inside as Trinjya shifts it.))
(DM Question - with the inventory system, my STR places my backpack at 1 slot, however if I'm not filled on all my other slots, could I carry the item in my backpack still? I mean, our backpacks would be the same size, it's just our ability to carry items. So a 2 slot item could just take over a secondary weapon slot or something, theoretically. In that case, Morn could give his rations over to someone else as he has several spots open across weapons, potions etc.)
((I'm willing to say that some of you 'on person' are 'in pack', the only mechanical difference between the two is that you have ready access to 'on person', where it takes an action to rummage around in the pack for stuff. We're already running it something like that so puny Trinjya can haul the mace in her pack.))

(OOC - ok, cool. In that case, Morn has several empty spots in weapons and pouches, so could potentially take it.)
"If someone can take the rations from my pack, then you can stow in there for the travel home," Morn says as he continues to watch the king's location that pings in his mind.
Morn would stick to the middle or towards the back to continue his tracking of the frog king for the remainder of the spell's time, but still keeping an eye out for any other enemies.
((You're all well under where it would trigger anything. I'll dig back through if it becomes relevant, but don't think anyone was even over 10. Except Frankie. He's had a rough week.))

I guess Horatio will take the rear, with Gandalon as extra eyes to make sure froggy hands do go a-reaching around his less than supremely protected throat.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Then Trinjya will take the lead. She shoulders her backpack carfully to not let the mace get too close to her back. She pauses for a second to orient herself.
Survival: 14
She is confident that she can find their way back.
Sirq places Frankie in the middle between Samael and Morn. It's slow going to not outpace the injured fellow's ability to move through the swampy area. Trinjya sets out confidently, but the slower pace, and coming from the opposite direction kind of throws off her navigation a bit, and you end up taking a more circuitous, but still successful route, arriving at the scene of your initial battle with the frogmen. All of the bodies are gone, the ground churned by a great many prints.
By this time, Morn's sense of the king has long faded, but during the half hour or so that he still had a sense of him, the king was following along, sometimes moving up past the party, likely putting Morn on high alert for an ambush, but so far he's kept his distance.
As the party pauses on the small bit of ground you fought on before, someone give me a Perception check please.

Trinjya will keep an eye out during this short rest (very short rest) since , not having been involved in taking care for frankie sofar, she has little else to do. Restless and itching to get moving again, she walks the perimeter of their place and warches out for movements that would indicate a threat.
"Damn, I hate waiting for being ambushed."
She says, more to herself than to any other group member whil she makes her round.
Trinjya can spot the branch ahead that SHOULD have a piece of fabric tied to it marking it... but the fabric is missing. She hears a faint gurgle of water in that general direction. It would seem the king or others are making it harder for you to find your way back out...

(DM Question - how long had we travelled through the swamp before arriving at the camp? It was slow going, so I'm guessing it wasn't incredibly far?)
(OOC - also, we would have had some sense of the sun and it's movement while we travelled, so we could potentially utilise the sun as a guide as well.)
((From the head of the river to where you were ambushed by the frogmen was most of a day's trek, iirc. You then moved on a bit further and camped, then attacked the frogman village the following morning. It is now pushing into mid afternoon that day, but it seems unlikely you'll make it back to the boat by sundown, even if you navigate your way there perfectly, as your pace is even slower now. You'd probably be needing to find a place to camp in the next several hours, but yes, you know that if you head in a generally northern direction, following the flow of water where it is discernable, you should make it to the river, even without the markers.))
"Guys, I think our new friends are trying to mislead us again. They are removing More of Frankie's markers. I would say we hunt them down and make an end to this but with Frankie around I don't think that is an option. Well, eventually they will try to attack us and save us the effort to track them down out there"
(( if we were to take the same path that we came, how long would it take us at our current travel speed to get to our arch enemy (the muck)))
