"probably, but the important thing is that we know where to go." Samael then thinks, then shrugs "our guide probably has taken some time to herself to decompress."
Morn chuckles as several of the group point to each other as they nominate not to lead. He steps forward, "Well, let's give this a go. I mean, what could possibly go wrong?" He laughs and begins searching the ground and surrounding areas to guide their way (Survival: 12).
Morn leads the way to the next marker, it's a bit bedraggled, but he can spot the next one not too far distant. Moving to each in turn, the party arrives at a marker tied to dead tree, with no other markers visible in the direction you'd been heading.

Trinjya has been following the group in quiet anger after Samael's "attack" and and Hgru's departure destroyed her good mood. Now she is warily observing the surroundings.
"I'm not an expert, but I don't think a lively place like this should be so quiet. It doesn't feel natural to me. If only we had a guide who could tell us more about this land." She accentuates the last part in an overly dramatic way. A keen observer however could tell that she is alert by the way her body tenses slightly and by her eyes, restlessly scanning the area.
Trinjya will look out for any movement around the groups location, that could indicate a threat approaching the group (she is focusing on the direction of the place Hgru wanted to avoid which is if I remember correctly also the direction the group was traveling )) Perception:18
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Morn looks around warily. "We should not have lost that last marker so easily. Something is most definitely not right here. Watch yourselves, my friends." He keeps a watchful eye on the waters surrounding the group (Perception: 15), a hand on the hilt of his dagger and another unclipping the component pouch ready for a spell.
As you look around warily, you see nothing, until a crude sack lands on the ground in your midst, and the short stocky form of a frog person emerges from the swamp.
Morn pauses, holding his hands up to indicate he's not being hostile, "Well hello there, little fellow. What's in the sack?" Morn slowly kneels next to the sack thrown down by the frog person. "Do any of you happen to understand this one, by chance?" he says to the others without looking away from the newcomer. He looks between the frogman and the sack a moment, then says "Do you want us to open this?" He slowly lowers his hands towards the sack and opens it, peeking inside.
Morn grabs a pinch of soot and salt from his component pouch and he casts comprehend languages on himself so that he can understand what the newcomer is saying. He keeps his focus on the frog man, but he quietly and calmly speaks to Horatio, "How certain are you that he means to rob us? I'll not hand over my belongings so easily."
They seem wary as some spells are cast, but nod encouragingly at the mirror being put in the sack, and croak again and waggle their spear at the sack repeatedly.
"Grib-roak!"
Morn:
"Yes, stupid dry-lander, put the toll in the sack and be quick about it!"
"probably, but the important thing is that we know where to go." Samael then thinks, then shrugs "our guide probably has taken some time to herself to decompress."

Horatio peers out, trying to find another marker. He seems lost in thought in the meanwhile.
Looking around... you no longer see the marker behind you either... did you come from over there? Or was it by that tree?
The swamp goes eerily quiet...

The sack is empty.
"Grib! Grib-roak!"
It pats a pouch at its side, and points at the sack.
