The defenders look relieved and continue to watch the sky and the town.
Governor Nighthill walks up to Gus with a cushioned box in his hands. "Thank you so much for all you've done for this town! Here take these." As he hands each of you a potion of healing.
As he hands off the last of the potions a guard rushes over to the Governor. "Sir! The raiders are trying to burn down the mill!"
"Go! Inform Escbert and he will help you gather enough defenders to defend it!" He turns to you, "if the mill burns we will lose our stockpile of flour and won't be able to grind more for months! If you could get to the mill quickly and drive away the raiders before they set it aflame you would be doing us a great service. You will need to defend it until our force arrives to take over, but it shouldn't be more than fifteen minutes behind you."
Gus takes the potion and gives thanks. Startled at the new news, he says, “What’s wrong boy? What? Trouble at the old mill?” He checks his equipment and waits for directions.
Frilneiros lowers his axes, nodding to Gus as he puts them back on his belt. As soon as the news of the mill being attacked reaches him he quickly pulls the great axe from his back. "Well these fools seem to be quite eager to die today... Shall we go?"
You get the directions to the mill, and as you sneak through the tunnel and through the streets of town they seem eerily empty. You still hear shouts and running feet but they are fairly easy to avoid.
The mill is on the south-west edge of town on the opposite side of the river. As you approach you can see three humans carrying wood and straw towards a pile of wood and straw against the nearest wall. You can hear the millstones still turning inside.
Gus takes a closer look, trying to discern if they are wearing similar clothes to the rest of the thugs attacking the town. “Ye hear that? The mill is still at work. A bit suspicious, if ye ask me,” he whispers to the rest
Frilneiros nods as he readies his axe, ready to charge in at a moments notice. "The best course of action would be to try and take one down with your bow before any of us get close."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

Gus hefts a javelin and says, "Aye, I could help with that. Are we beein' sure they're the ones we're after? Anyone see more clearly?" If he knows they're bad guys and he sees Wolfy drawing back and letting loose, he will also do the same with a javelin. Here's the attack if that is the case. Attack:5Damage:5
After throwing, Gus will look at Fril and nod, and assuming they'll both go charging in.
Wolfstine, you think something is weird but cannot put your finger on what exactly it is.
Gus, you notice that while the individuals are stacking wood and kindling they aren't actually making a fire. They seem to be trying to make it look like they are trying to burn down the building without actually doing so.
Okay. Then as per my action above, before I let loose, I explain what I see to everyone and ask for suggestions. If we decide to attack I’ll go with that then.
Frilneiros looks as though he wants to rush forward but holds himself back as he knows that it would be unwise for him to rush forward. He looks to the others to wait for a sign they are ready for battle. "So what is the plan?"
Wolfstine looks at Gus in awe but he plays it down
"Glad that I got you to save your spells, that was amazing!"

He starts to go off but stops
"Would you mind pointing out the Mill? Governor we aint from around here"

Wolfstine thinks about it and looks at the people doing this and readies his bow
"We need to dispatch those three quick, then maybe look in an window upperfloor? You know look before you leap"

”That is curious, indeed. For what reason might they only pretend to burn the mill? Perhaps as a threat? Either way, shoulder take one alive?”
Celadrim follows Wolf and looks around for anything unusual.

”it don’t look like they are part of the cult - we should approach with caution and be ready. Perhaps approach from different angles?,” Gus suggests.
