Earlier Wolfstine takes one of their victims uniforms now: Collecting his hand axe from Linan "So who were they?" Wolfstine looks around for whomever is in charge "Linan, where is the Governor you talked about?"
"Your welcome." Wolfstine's deep growling voice replies having put all of his weapons away. He grabs their prisoner and the garment he took and approaches the Mayor drops the kobold at his feet and does a slight bow "Wolfstine... And this wretch" nodding to the hogtied kobold
Frilneiros nods as he takes the axe back, carefully putting back on the loop where he pulled it from. With that done he pulls his cloak back up, moving to go towards the town leader. "What has happened?"
As you move up the wall to the parapet you approach the man who seems to be in charge. The right side of his face and head is bandaged, his right arm hangs in a sling, and his light blue tunic is stained with his own blood.
"Welcome to Greenest travelers, my name is Tarbaw Nighthill, I am the governor of the city. We are beset by raiders and they have a dragon in tow. Gratefully the sky is clear for the moment but the great beast will be back I'm sure! It doesn't seem like the raiders have any interest in the keep but I fear for the people who haven't made it here." Nighthill looks at the uniform "Our foes have structure, I’d give anything to know what we’re up against, and why. For that, we need prisoners. A commander, even a low-ranking one, is best. But I will question this one to see what he knows”
Gus snorts at the idea that these thugs - kobolds, no less! - would be in possession of a dragon. "Ha! More likely the old beast has THESE unfortunates in tow. I be meanin' no offense to ye lad, but what could this little town have to offer fer the likes of a dragon? Did any of ye see what colour it be?"
"Do you have any suggestions Nighthill? Anyone to advise us on who to capture?" getting an Idea he looks to the dragonbourn
he carries the kobold over to Harbinger removes the gag "It seems to think a dragon is its boss maybe you can get more out of it with charm. Try to get a name or description of someone we can capture."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
'Charm was never my strong suit but I will do what I can'
Speaking draconic to the kobold 'Tell us everything you know small one. What kind of dragon do you serve and where might we find his captains?!?!?! Take this chance to speak and live!'
Frilneiros crosses his arms as he listens, seemingly enraged as they learn more. While on most kobolds such a look would more then likely be ridiculous, the golden scaled one seems as if he was used to being much more imposing. "If it is following the dragon then it may not know much at all. It is likely it was told to attack or face the wrath of the beast."
The already terrified kobold goes almost comatose "We works for the Cult of the Dragon. The dragon lady is leader. Work to scare and loot."
"It seems that this kobold is just a grunt. Perhaps one of the humans would be more likely to have more information." Nighthill seems disappointed. "The dragon is blue and it looks to be full-grown, it attacked early in the assault but it seems to not really care about the fight." He looks down at the streets and points to a well-guarded woman in purple. "That woman looks to be leading the attack. I know that she would know what is going on but that would be a suicide mission."
'Perhaps we can at least learn their purpose if we shadow this mysterious woman' Harbinger cast a gaze at the dwarf then says '.... But I feel that not all of us are gifted with stealth.'
Celadrim listens to Governor Nighthill speak, and bows his head in greeting. "I am sorry to hear that your village has been beset by such danger. It saddens and disheartens me to see innocent villages die in at the hand of such reckless and evil whims of an evil dragon and its minions."
The elf shudders when he hears the prisoner speak of the Cult of The Dragon.
"It is as I have feared. There is indeed a bigger danger encroaching on the horizon that's much bigger than a single dragon and a groveling group of nasty little kobolds. I know few details about this specific cult, but I have lived long enough to know that crazed groups of fanatics that share a fixation for the glory of evil and destruction are dangerous indeed. I despair to hear of these developments... they must be stopped or we all will dread the consequences of them gaining even more power, and it does seem like a good idea to begin with with that woman in purple, although we should use caution if she is that well guarded."
Looking to the others who fought and helped bring the villages to the keep, Celadrim says, "it would seem that fate as brought us all together in this moment, and I cannot fathom why it would not as a counter to this rising evil. Nature works in balance, and if we are to be the balance to this dragon cult, then we must swear to band together and fight them as one. I fear that we are in for a long haul of trouble, but if we combine our strengths, then we have a much better chance of succeeding in this task, and in staying alive."
"Are you with me as allies?"
He draws his short sword and holds it in the air in front of him as he looks to his new companions.
"We can watch, follow her runners to her commanders." he shakes his head "But I don't like leaving an arrogant general to walk around freely."
He looks over to the Dwarf then to Nighthill
"Nighthill, do you have anything to quiet a loud warriors movement? We need him."
I guess we went to the roof
Wolfstine draws an arrow and gets a bead on the woman in purple then release's the tension on the string not firing "Arrogant is better than defensive when the target is stalked"
As you are talking to the Governor, down in the courtyard a red-haired dwarf sounds an alarm. Nighthill turns rapidly towards the commotion and shouts "Red, what news?"
"Battering ram at the old gate, we need to ward off the attackers!"
Nighthill turns back to you "You have proved yourself capable, will you please go help keep the encroachers out of the keep?"
"Battering ram, eh? Haha, well, I won't be needin' to keep meself quiet for a little ways longer, eh laddy!?" he grins at Wolfstine. He raises a bushy eyebrow at Celadrim and rolls his eyes, "Elves," he mutters under his breath. "I need a drink."
"Okay, are we in good shape to go? Eh, Nighthill - is there a temporary armory around here? I might be needin' some of your spears or javelins, if ye got 'em. Hand axes'll work fine too. For Greenest! and all that, ye know."
Frilneiros throws off his cloak and readies the larger axe on his back, moving to head towards where the gate is whether he is being followed by others or not. "I am with all of you. If you wish to help then we need to keep these people safe. For every blow we take two of them must fall."

“I’m not sure who they were, but it looks like the mayor is up there.” She points up to the parapet, “he’ll have more information I’ll bet.”
Cuth hands over his borrowed weapon as well. “Thank you so much for saving us!”

An additional 25XP for the captured Kobold
So is that 400xp per player or are we dividing the first 375?
There's an algorithm for that. 🦏
