Kallen calls out a suggestion of rest then moves about the battle area setting a torch to burn away bodies and webbing. Reidoth will join to assist in containing the fires to the area. Joshua pulls remaining webbing from himself adding to the piles of burning webbing and scans the area. Velshir is considered to be resting for the moment.
Brencharis moves along the wall testing various areas and finds them strong enough to climb up to the lip of the roof (which appears to be all that's left of it - just a thin section along the edges at the top of some of the walls)

As she inspects the wall, Brencharis is going to pull the arrow from the first spider she shot. clean it off, then stick it back in her quiver, the other one is buried too deeply in the ground as a result of whatever the magics Prentiss triggered were. (Does Brencharis notice anything from her vantage point on the roof?)
Velshir goes through a short meditative sequence, willing his body to unwind from tension and focus on beginning to heal wounds. He similarly unwinds his mind, lest the trauma of being attacked seep into his psyche and build an undercurrent of anxiety.
As Velshir takes some time to center and channel his injuries away, Brencharis identifies spots where the Spiders descended the wall to be solid and scales the wall peering over into the structure. The Roofing is nearly completely gone, having mostly collapsed into the structure leaving rubble everywhere within webbing. The structure seems to hold little of interest visually except perhaps a wrapped mass in the western side. Perhaps a body?
Prentiss cuts away at webbing within climbing through the rubble slowly careful not to get caught up in the webs and alert for further dangers of which he spots none then sees an unfortunate victim of the Spider's feeding habits wrapped tightly in the western side of the building. As he tears the webbing away to confirm that the unfortunate fellow is deceased, his observations confirm this in finding a corpse that has been sucked dry of a male elf. The body wears studded leather armor and a shortsword in the scabbard at its hip. A careful search also yields a potion of healing in a belt pouch, along with 23 gp and 35 sp.
Joshua and Kallen note easily as they move about the area that the effect of Joshua's magical surge seems to be a vulnerability to piercing damage affecting both enemies and allies alike.
From Brencharis' vantage on top of the building's edge she can see the pathway up the hill to a tower to the north and the other structure to the southeast. Many structures still stand in the eastern side of town in the distance.
Brencharis can relay view of the tower at the top of the hill due to its elevation and the building immediately to the SE. The 'smithy' is an intact building so interior darkened.
Prentiss leaves the elf's armour and weapons in place, indicating to the team that they are welcome to take what they want.
"Five gold and three silver each" he says, splitting up the money. He hands the healing potion to Velshir, saying "You keep getting in the way of monsters for me, friend. Take this and keep it handy"
He claps the monk on the shoulder in thanks, wondering how many life debts he can build up before the gods demand he starts to pay some back.
Velshir regards the dead elf with an emotionless gaze. “Each person’s journey through this mortal world will come to an end sooner or later. I wonder what’s at the end of my own path…?”
@Brencharis - The Smithy's building bottom (right corner) is intact with a wide chimney and wood piled high along the outside of one wall. Brencharis' view of the building showed a sagging but complete roof.
@Joshua you'd only had a couple points of damage. Do you use a HD during the Short Rest?

Brencharis is going to mention what she sees to the others, and then makes her way to a spot on the roof where she can potentially make a running jump over to the smithy.
@Brencharis The squares are 10' and the limit of your jump is based on your Strength (12') with a 10' running start. A standing jump - as I understand is half that. The roof of the store is very weak with a thin portion of roof along the top edge, but because of your high Dex (18) I'll give that you can climb to the other end of the structure and use the weak wall for the distance you need to start. Let's say a athletics vs DC 12 because of distance with a possible d6 in damage for a failed attempt BUT because of high dex you may roll an acrobatics check vs DC 10 to override a fail and still catch the other wall in some way? If you wish, you could prep somehow and use Whispers of the Dead to gain Skill with acrobatics until you change it. (Roll athletics vs DC 12 -> succeed great, if fail roll acrobatics with possible proficiency from Whispers to catch wall and not take d6 damage)
Brencharis calls down semi-quietly what she's seen from her vantage then balances along the top of roof edge to the other end of the store looking quite literally like she's planning to attempt a leap with how she seems to be gazing at the roof of the Smithy. Prentiss is taking a more ground based approach, crunching through the branches below between the buildings.
Velshir will gather his wits about him and be on the lookout for threats on the ground. He will approach the smithy NW door but not open it. Are there any windows?

They all find the doors on the east and west side to be swollen shut, similar to the ones at the Tavern so will take some strength to open. Windows are 2' wide covered with wooden shutters with 6' wide arrow slits, also like the tavern. There is a window on each the west and east sides of the building. A wide chimney shows centered towards the back half of the structure and wood is piled high and semi covered in plant growth on the exterior wall. Brencharis is on top of the General Store building estimating her jump.
I've marked Brencharis' jump (should she wish to attempt) with the blue line, started on the ruined building at the X to get enough momentum for the 10' leap to the Smithy's building. Windows are marked with Green X's
