Velshir moves forward and with a miss of his javelin, that almost appears intentional, he knocks the man in the head leaving him a little stunned and near death (that would bring him to zero) You suspect in a few seconds the world will cease its spinning for him. Sheyla moves forward, "You don't get to die on us," she says with a swift move of something under the Redbrand's nose that seems to bring him to focus. "There, he is out of danger now for the moment, he will be able to answer your questions now." She says as she moves back.
He looks up at Velshir, attempting but failing badly to snarl at you in defiance so just glares.

He looks about at his dead companions and the Bugbears and doesn't seem to know who you are referring to at first. But after some coaxing he realizes who you must be talking about. "The wizard? Glasstaff, or at least that's what we call him. I don't think that's his true name. Yes, our boss, but it seems he's gone now. I doubt he'll come back here. So not my boss now. We work for the Black Spider."
Sheyla moves over to Loren and looks at his injuries. "If I may?" She says gesturing at his smashed arm and shoulder from the Bugbear's Morningstar. "I think its mostly out of joint, I could fix that for you? I'll tend to Velshir soon, don't want to interrupt the interrogation just yet."

You might be slightly distracted by a very valuable looking jeweled eye-patch that the Bugbear named Mosk seems to be wearing.
Prentiss takes a moment to draw on his inner reserves and prepare some magical energy in case needed (OOC: convert two sorcery points into one spell slot).
Shaking his head to clear it, he stands behind his companions and demands of the captive "Who or what is the Black Spider? And where else does Glasstaff have to run - somewhere in this complex, or another settlement or camp?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Glasstaff wouldn't go to town...he's avoiding it for some reason. I know not why." He coughs and spits some blood at Velshir's feet. "I don't know where he goes. The Black Spider is our boss in Cragmaw Castle, but only Mosk knew where that was." He smirks at the dead Bugbear near him. "Glasstaff, he might come back for his supplies, those ingredients were quite valuable to him, and his books....but only if he thought it was safe to do so, he's not one to risk his precious skin."
With Loren's permission, Sheyla will apply bandages and reset Loren's shoulder with a swift movement at a moment of distraction. This effectively heals 12 points of his damage. "Ah, there you go, no real damage done at all. Good as new." She absently pats him on the just fixed shoulder as she finishes up, then winces slightly as she realized what she just did. "Oh, yes, that wasn't so good, my apologies."
Loren grimaces at the resetting, complaining goodnaturedly, until she taps the recently set shoulder - not so goodnatured for that one. He then dashes off to wrest the shiny doobob from the eye of the bugbear, chuckling to himself as he wipes it on a cleaning-looking patch of fur, should any exist.
(I have Loren's xp as counting at 895 - does that sound right? Just below level 3!)
(Everyone move yourself to 945 - even Prentiss (tracking, capture, etc should have given him some prior to getting here) to even you all out. I've most definitely missed 50 xp somewhere even if I didn't mention it. You will all be at level 3 for sure by end of this place.)

You notice as you remove the patch that he must have only been wearing the patch for show as his eye seems perfectly intact underneath. The eye patch is made of black leather set with semiprecious stones worth maybe 50 g) Both bugbears and the other redbrands all carry pouches as well.
Prentiss takes a moment and looks around the cavern with its two bridges and various entry points. "judging by the route we took in here and back via the northwest, I'm guessing the next route to try is the southwest?"
He gives a slight shiver, sensing that something inside him is stirring, becoming stronger. "I'm happy to take second in the line again; once we tie this ruffian up ready to take back to town for justice to be served"
Welcome back ! To catch you up, you are out of spells, down one in your healer's kit (didn't subtract)- used on Loren, I've added XP to current but you'll need to actually level your person up. Velshir is still in sad need of your 'healer' abilities being down 9 points - used the 'natural recovery' to get one of the spell points back already. Oh and you wild shaped into a wolf to get close enough to leave the crevasse, bite a bugbear and convert back to human to touch Velshir with a cure wounds when he dropped to 4. (was a 1 but I missed Loren's move and had to correct it to 4 or 5, can't remember.) Sorry used so much, was a rough fight.

Loren takes a peek through the jeweled eyepiece, laughing as he does so. What an odd bauble to add to his collection. Assuming nothing immediately important happens, he will file that away in one of his pockets for safekeeping.

"Agreed" says Prentiss "Maybe one of us should secure his chamber while the others clear the south west? There seem to be a lot of secret doors in this place and the rat could be lurking anywhere"
Prentiss pops down the stairs and has a listen to the southern door: Perception 18 (passive 11)
Ooc: if a use of the healers kit was used and no subtracted then I have just done so and we are out of healer kit uses, no spells left for her so she is running cantrips, natural weapons and one wild shape.
"Sounds like someone sleeping behind the south door" says Prentiss. "Hopefully we broke their main force here, I'd be loath to retreat before clearing this place. But I'll cede to the majority view if we opt for a short break here or a longer lie-up elsewhere"
