Kallista looks at Aelar, "Ya, it's a job. I'm excited. And uh... I'm not really sure," she seems uncomfortable with how dreamy everyone is turning.

Sister Daar holds her face in her hands and then shakes her head to Aelar and Kallista.
"Nnngh, it's the herbs. It's part of their religious practices. It's not too strong, unless you're especially susceptible or voluntarily put yourself in a trance. It won't do any harm... it just makes you more open about your desires. Makes you more truthful with yourself." she mutters.
"Lazlo must be a lightweight." Kina comments, though she's looking quite flushed herself.
"I'm going to need this soak though. I'm going to be running out tomorrow with the Guiston Watch to Hon, see what damage has been caused. While we're there... if it's remained untouched, is there anything any of you want me to bring back with me? I'll be there for about a week while the Watch sets up a guarded perimeter. Seems all I was ever good for was hauling, anyway." she says, then shakes her head. "Mmngh, the herbs are getting to me too. But congratulations, Kallista. Either he sees something in you that shows promise, or the old man is just going soft." 

Aelar can't seem to help himself as his mind drifts to Raia. He can almost see her. Whether that's just a delusion or the herbs making him relax his mind and unconsciously opening the connection more, he can't tell, he just feels very 'open'. He gets a feeling of comfort and wamth... wait, no, that's coming from him. His chest feels strange, his heart beating a little faster and harder than it really needs to, and it feels like he's exerting himself lightly, and a soft voice enters his mind.
"Mmmf, that feels good...." Raia murmurs in semi-conscious bliss.

"Oh... um," Kallista seems a bit embarrassed, "I have a... collection of weird looking rocks. Nothing special, but I'd like to have it back. It should be in one of the farm houses. In an old burlap sack I was using as a bag... should have what little I owned in it come to think of it... And I'm hoping I can live up to the expectations he has for me."

She seems uncomfortable with the idea of mind-altering herbs, but she's too curious about what everyone else is experiencing. She tries to relax and let the herbs do... whatever it is they do that causes this.

Hyre is puzzled. Should he tell the truth, or should he lie? He couldn't analyze enough to be sure what the right reaction should be. He wanted to look at Barna to see how she'd respond, but that surely would make the man suspicious about them. In the end, he chooses not to lie, but he's not exactly telling the truth either.
"Thank you, sir. I hope I can repay your kindness one day. About that egg... we uhh... I guess we came by it while doing something else. We didn't even know it's an egg back then. We managed to deduce that only this afternoon." Then, trying to change the subject, he gestures towards the armour. "Were you a knight of some kind?"

Leon stares with quite some surprise at Lazlo and Carmine cuddling in the pool. The revelation that the pool contained a mind-altering substance brings him out of the relaxed state. He feels a bit cold despite the heat. 

Leon will just wait and see what happens, and if the circumstances allow it, take his leave before he made a fool of himself. He's got an appointment tomorrow that can't be missed...

Whatever was going on with him in these waters was helping Raia so Aelar decided to run with it.  He didn't really know what he was doing so he just let his body do what it was doing, helped along by a previously unknown portion of his mind.  He still sent no thoughts to her.

Turning to Kina, he tells her where to find his cousins' silversmith shop.  "I'm doubting if the regular tools will still be there, given that we already saw looting or something inside, at least Kallista did," he says with a dreamy smile at the tiefling.  "But there was another set of tools, two sets actually, hidden.  One was a backup set in case the regular ones were stolen or broken or something.  The other was my father's.  I'd like to have them back, either or both, please.  My clothes are in my room above the shop, along with a silver filigree portrait Xallon made of my parents, for me.  If it's still there, it would mean a lot to me."  He tells her how to find the hidden tools and also his room, pauses, then continues.  "And if there is any actual silver left, which I also doubt, I'd like that too.  The wealth would come in handy here for us."

Balgrim

Balgrim leaves saying, "I be much obliged.  I'll do all I ken tae see that everythin' be accomplished like ye wish.  Findar Torst.  Arau Thorlorn." 

As Balgrim makes his way back to the others, he straightens his new clothes and eyes them as best he can while still wearing them.  He feels a sense of purpose and the satisfaction of starting down a path to accomplishing things for a grander cause.
