(I hope you don't mind, but that's enough successful attacks to neutralize the last two goblins that you know of)
Auraani's arrow downs the brave little goblin that stayed at the sled, while Ssej, seeing the other about to flee, quickly leaps at it and breaks its neck with a massive blow from his tail.
There's a moment of silence, quickly broken by a sudden flapping of wings. Above you is a small dark shape which gives a piercing cry and then zooms back to the tall wagon. A hawk?
Drawing closer, Karl eyes the unusual wagon from a safe distance. He didn't like the look of those bears. Since when did goblins domesticate bears?
He's a little preoccupied with the ursine predators to notice or care about the hawk. He doesn't fire on the wagon or it's beasts, not yet, but his hands stay hot, ready to follow the lead of his friends.
Given the bears and the screeching bird, Matthias does not like the situation. It seems like whoever is sitting over there by torchlight has a very serious command of the arctic fauna, and that makes him very uncomfortable.
"So," he mutters nervously to whomever is nearest, "do you think there will be any objections if we just start hauling that sled away? I suppose two bears would be able to outpace us should their tender want to do so..."
He looks to the sky again. "Unfortunately, that did not sound like our employer's owl," he says. Even as he is talking, he's headed toward the abandoned sled, curious to see if its cargo is still there.
The sled is fully loaded with iron ingots. Each is stamped with the 'foaming mug' symbol of the Icewind Dale dwarves that live in the valley in the shadow of Kelvin's Cairn. They're secured to the sled by leather straps.
"Looks like the ingot's are all here," Matthias says to the others who are close enough to hear. "But I fear we can't outpace that 'carriage' and its two very frightening draft horses...so it looks like we have three choices. Flee without what we came for, negotiate, or fight. I'm a little uncert.."
Matthias's words trail off, and his eyes flicker red once again, and a devilish smile spreads across his face. "Let them come," he says, in a deep voice. "We are not afraid."
He turns his attention in the direction of the bear-drawn vehicle, though he stays close to others as best he can for now.
Ssej slowly and determinedly approaches the larger wagon pulling out his spear, starring down the polar bears to assert his dominance over them and then calmly speaking to the figure on top of the wagon, "Run or die."
Variety sighs as she sees the new threat. "Of course it wouldn't be that easily," she laughs a little, ready to try a little magic trick once they got close enough.
Ssej, you’ve managed to impress the polar bears and also the figure on the wagon. As you draw closer, you can see that it is another goblin, female, bigger and healthier, one of their leaders, perhaps. The hawk rests on her shoulder and glares down at you imperiously. The polar bears eye you warily.
She calls out to you, “Ho, lizard-man, peace. You’re real strong, we don’t wanna fight no more. We just found that thing by itself, someone left it, so we took it. It belong to you?”
"Yess it belongss to uss. My dead dwarf friendss were ambusshed by a yeti in the area and we have come back to claim what iss ourss. I will not attack unlessss provoked, I cannot talk for my friendss." as Ssej points to the people behind him. "You might want to leave quickly before they act but one thing firsst. Do you know of any Chwinga'ss that live in the area?" He asks.
The goblin cackles at your story. “Yeti’s are bad bad. We saw the body. My name Izobai. You kill my friends over there? Oh well. Times are tough, less mouths to feed to feed at home now.” She shrugs.
“Chwingas? Sure, we see ‘em here, we seem ‘em there, who cares? They steal, they throw snowballs, they goof around. I just chase ‘em away.”
“You in the area sometime, you come to Karkolohk, our home. Foothills of Spine of World. Maybe we be friends, or maybe we eat you if we too hungry.” She gives another cackling laugh at her joke and then shouts something down in goblin-talk. A goblin hidden within the structure whips the reins and the polar bears grumble and roar, but they start straining and pulling the wagon along. “We go now, no hard feelings.”
The fiery feeling within Matthias dies down as it's clear the goblin woman doesn't want any part of the party. He turns and looks back at the sled. "I feel a bit lazy saying this," he says. "But I really don't think that I will be of much use hauling that sled. I am not as strong as I used to be."
Karl nods with approval at how Ssej negotiates. Actually, they were each skilled 'negotiators'. He nudges one of the bodies with his boot. Pitiful creatures. Perhaps they could have been scared off, their lives spared.
Considerations made after the fact. Sympathy would not undo their slaughter. He quietly grasps one segment of the reins.
"We should be quick about this. A yeti is known to prowl here and we just put the scent of fresh carrion on the air."

Another medical problem. Indefinite hiatus. Sorry, all.
I don't mean to foreshadow anything, but it would be good to hear how the party members position themselves for the journey back. The sled needs 4 people pushing/pulling to have it move at a reasonable pace that doesn't take too much work per person.
Alright we will have Nazcan also pushing and Variety and Matthias walking alongside.
Sure enough, the weather is worsening as you head back to town. As it is around noon, it’s that brightest part of the day where the sun has tried to rise, it just never manages to do so, and you’re left with a faint, orange glow on the eastern horizon. This is coupled with low, thick clouds moving in overhead to create an eerie effect, the horizon light hits the low clouds and accentuates their presence, giving the claustrophobic impression of being in a low-ceiling room. The wind picks up and snowflakes start to fall, few at first but with rapid intensification, until soon they are creating snowdrifts on your shoulders. The wind picks up to a howling level and the snowfall increases more, to the point where you can see little and hear less. You’re caught in a blizzard. You’ve heard it’s dangerous to be outside in one, and not just because of what may be hunting. People have gotten separated, turned around, lost, frozen to death... You’re about 2 hours out from returning to town. How do you proceed?

Variety seems a tad confused by the goblin just choosing to leave, "Where do you see them?"

You get the impression that Izobai wants to get the heck out of there without further losses. She knows when she’s outmatched.
Izobai calls out as the wagon starts to roll away, “You like chwingas eh? I dunno, you keep eyes open you see one sooner or later.”
The fiery feeling within Matthias dies down as it's clear the goblin woman doesn't want any part of the party. He turns and looks back at the sled. "I feel a bit lazy saying this," he says. "But I really don't think that I will be of much use hauling that sled. I am not as strong as I used to be."

Auraani nods at Karl, "Agreed, best we get this thing back as quick as possible."
She steps towards the back of the sled and gets ready to start pushing.

Ssej will move to the front and help pull.
((At the front, pulling, would Karl be.))
