As a result, unless he dashes, he can’t see anything except the sky to the north, and the distant silhouettes of the Bantu mountain peaks. To see what Py sees, to look over the edge of the terrace down the building’s north-facing wall, he will have to dash. Does he?
Auger moves to the terrace wall and, looking down toward the street 80’ below, sees four black-and-red clad men. They are now more than half-way up the side of the building, carried aloft by strong vines which wrap around them and grow at a tremendous rate, shooting upward while lifting the men toward you, while thin, strong tendrils growing from the vines slip in between bricks and nooks on the walls, attaching firmly to the surfaces and supporting the weight of the men. At their rate of travel, it looks like they will arrive at your level in seconds.
Auger sees them coming and backs away instinctively. He sees Ednyss stepping out through the door, his dwarven spirits still surrounding him, and Auger has an idea. He steps over to Ednyss and whispers to him, "They come. Stay quiet and let your spirits do the work and I will..."Auger reaches out to Ednyss and bends the light around him making him invisible. And then Auger moves inside and away as quickly as possible. At Auger's direction, Py moves further away from the terrace. I might need your help getting to the roof in a moment.

Moves to N1 and 30' up - hopefully out of range of any trouble. Py continues relaying info to Auger.

Move: To O10, pausing to touch Ednyss along the way. If the bedroom door is open Auger hopes it will obscure any view of him for the moment.
Varielky looks down to her legs. Gashed and stung, it will take time to heal. She noticed the vines, but she never expected them to deal so much damage to her legs. They weren't normal vines, that's for sure. Varielky is glad to see them turning to dust.
When Auger announces that more enemies are coming, Varielky hurries to her room. "Hold them off for a moment!" She shouts towards the others. If more enemies are coming, she needs to be as prepared as she can. When she enters her room, Varielky rushes to the side of her bed where both shields lay. She picks up Tuff's shield. It should be of more use against these enemies who use vines rather than swords or axes. Varielky straps the shield to her arm. Now she's ready to face them.
The doorway is difficult terrain (mentioned above), and Auger already moved 10’ this round. He only has 20’ more of movement and can only make it as far as N8. Does he still want to move there?
As a reminder, invisibility will end if the invisible character attacks. This includes spell attacks such as spiritual weapon.

Benita runs into the bedroom with Varielky and unsheathes her rapier then turns back toward the living room with it in hand. She exchanges a dark glance with the shield maiden, and says, “They’re going to regret this, bruiser!”
Ednyss will agree to invisibility. As far as his movement, he will take the dash action to get all the way to the edge of the balcony. With his bonus action, instead of moving his spectral shield, the dwarf gives himself an additional layer of protection as he looks down on the quickly ascending men.
Bonus Action: Cast Sanctuary on himself (Only if Ednyss could have done this before invisibility (i.e. not broken Auger's spell)) You ward a creature within range against attack. Until the spell ends, any creature who targets the warded creature with an attack or a harmful spell must first make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the creature must choose a new target or lose the attack or spell. This spell doesn't protect the warded creature from area effects, such as the explosion of a fireball.
As a reminder, Spirit Guardians will halve the movement of all of the enemies regardless of whether they make their save, but they additionally have to make a DC 17 Wisdom Saving Throw to take half of 13 Radiant Damage. If the enemies can still make it to Ednyss with their movement halved, they will have to make a DC 17 Wisdom Saving Throw to target him with an attack or harmful spell because of Sanctuary. If they do manage to attack, they make the attack at disadvantage due to [Tooltip Not Found].

Auger scouts out the situation, casts invisibility on Ednyss, then retreats toward the suite, finishing his turn in the doorway.
Ednyss dashes to the edge of the balcony, casts sanctuary, and his spirit guardians continue to swirl around him, visible to all, within a radius of 15’. His spiritual weapon remains in the living room.
The four red-cypress emblazoned men see the spirit guardians in the light from the suite, and avoid them as they finish their upward journeys, carried by the fast-growing vines. They land outside of the area of the spirits, and recognize a spell at work. They look for a spellcaster, and there, immediately at the edge of the area of effect, is a robed human maintaining a spell.
RC4, 5, 6, and 7 all extend their arms and thick twisting vines shoot forward from each of them at Auger; each blast explodes into sharp wooden fragments which shoot in all directions, sticking in floor, walls, anything nearby. But Auger’s robe absorbs the shattering impacts and all of the shards which shoot toward him are stopped in midair and fall to the ground like chopsticks rolling off a table. Except for RC7’s. RC7’s vine-blast strikes Auger full on, and the warlock takes 7HP damage. (I rolled concentration and it was a 20! Invisibility on Ednyss continues. Also note that Ednyss is out of the ‘blast radius’ of the wooden shards).
At the last of his endurance and covered in cuts Auger wonders at the powers of his robe as it stops blow after blow until finally one vine gets through and nearly ends Auger where he stands. Against all odds he continues bending the light around Ednyss. Turning and angry Auger attempts to blow two of the red-masked foes off the side of the terrace, splitting his twisting blasts between them. Then he moves into the suite again while messaging to Py. Find me a spot on the roof, I might need to move there in a moment!
Py
Tries to find a spot where Auger can perhaps misty step to the roof, flying forward and/or up as needed to do so. Py will Dash forward as far as N17 in order to find a spot, his goal is to stay out of the range of any combat.

Seeing Auger attack the two intruders on his left, Ednyss rushes to the right to engulf the other two intruders in his divine aura. He reaches for his tattoo to launch a radiant bolt of energy at the intruder, but upon touching the tattoo, he almost shouts in pain. Stifling the sound, Ednyss decides against trying to draw upon any more divine power for now and instead just allows his spirits to attack the intruders while he gets close enough that even without seeing him, his presence might dissuade their ranged attacks against Auger.
Move: N5 --> I6 (Hopefully will include RC 4 and 5 in the Spirit Guardians and will put Ednyss adjacent to both. Because of the wording on ranged attack rolls, this should give both of the enemies disadvantage on ranged attack rolls even if Ednyss doesn't do anything.)
Action: Dodge (Is probably redundant for now, but on the off-chance that Auger loses concentration it might become useful)

Varielky nods to Benita. "Let's make sure they do!" Then, as she runs out of the room and towards the window where Auger stands, Varielky draws healing energies from the sword to heal her legs so they won't hurt as much with every step.
Action: Dash. Move: (I'm not quite sure what counts as difficult terrain or not in this messy living room, but Varielky will use her move + dash (60') to get as close to any of the enemies. I don't think she gets any farther than the window.) BA: Lay on Hands through the sword, healing 10 HP.
Auger shoots blasts at RC6 and RC7. RC6 sees the attack coming and vines nearby harden and swirl in front of him into the form of a shield which absorbs his bolt, shattering into splinters as it does so.
RC7 is not so lucky and takes 12HP and is repelled against the terrace wall, along which he slides until he hits the interior corner at V5 and there, regains his footing. Auger teleports to any spot he wishes within range over the suite. The roof has a slight peak but the entire thing can be stood upon. Except for rows K and P which have 2’ tall chimneys emitting smoke from floors below. We’ll put him at +20’ over the suite’s floor.
Ednyss moves to I6, and his spirit guardians shift with him.

Benita runs out of the bedroom, turns, and sees bees about to enter the window of the south wall. She lifts a lamp and throws it into the window. It bursts into flame, creating smoke, and deterring the bees.

RC4 makes his WIS save and takes 7HP damage from Ednyss’ spirit guardians, turns, and jumps off of the terrace.
RC5 makes his WIS save and takes 7HP damage from Ednyss’ spirit guardians. He crits his perception roll and yells in perfect Shian, “Someone is here! I hear them” He also makes his WIS save to attack Ednyss. He utters a prayer, and a 5’ diameter tornado whips up suddenly behind Ednyss, sucking up the mulch and splinters on the terrace floor nearby, and buffeting the war cleric roughly, threatening to lift him off his feet. (OOC: Ednyss must make a STR save vs. DC14 or take 7 bludgeoning damage and be pushed over the terrace wall into square I-4, and fall 80’, for 26 additional bludgeoning damage. Unless Ednyss makes a DEX save vs. DC10, in which case he careens into the terrace wall and holds onto it so as not to be pushed over the edge, and takes 2 bludgeoning damage from the impact. If the STR save succeeds, Ednyss takes 1/2 damage). The human then jumps over the terrace wall and disappears from Varielky's view (and Ednyss' view if he is still on the terrace. If Ednyss fell and is still conscious, he sees, from the ground below, what Py sees (see below).)
RC6, seeing Varielky arrive at the door, aims his hands downwards, and a carpet of jagged, grasping, thorny vines grows in moments to cover the terrace floor and north end of the suite. Everything green on the map is now difficult terrain and Varielky knows she'll take 2d4 damage for every 5' she moves.
RC7 then shoots thick twisting vines at the shield maiden, which explode into a rain of sharp splinters which rebound toward her. But the vines and splinters are drawn to the spellguard shield, and when they strike it, they instantly soften to garden weeds and slide off, doing no damage.
Py does not need to move to see that the roof is clear, and sends to Auger from his same position, ‘Vines caught the two who jumped over the wall, and they are coming back up.’ The two men are out of view of everyone else.
Auger assumes the perception of Py and then sighting a good spot moves through the Sea of Stars arriving above on the roof, near one of the lines of chimneys where, as he strangely observes through Py's eyes, he sits in place. Auger continues looking through Py's eyes, attempting to sight all 4 of the assailants.

Stays put and will attempt to stay out of range if anyone comes near it somehow.
