Kane wakes up in a cold sweat from his nightmare. He gets up and opens a window to get some cool air. After he has calmed down, he dresses and joins anyone else in the main room to help with the evacuation.
(Sorry, took an extra day to really put myself back together properly.)
Gunra rises, feeling invigorated and . . . perhaps even blessed. Today might be a good day, he thinks. What a strange vision, though – a prismatic dragon in his dreams. The only dragon he knew of that encompassed all colors, both metallic and chromatic, was his deity, the Dragon Above All – but Asgorath did not trouble himself with the affairs of mere mortals. Especially not non-dragons.
He stows his bedroll and draws a fistful of pemmican out from a satchel before plodding along with Petmailer. He had already been half-asleep when the mysterious elf had joined him.
“Thanks for keeping an eye out last night. Today should be another strange one, eh?”

Nurm sleeps in the bed that he called his own for the past few weeks. He gets up early and meditates for a while, contemplating the events of the previous day. He has seen the power of Tiamats dragons in the past. But they were a few back then, merely a raid not a full invasion. If the cult manages to unite them, His own world would be in the danger.
With the first sun ligth, Nurm packs his few belongings and sits in the main hall awaiting the others.
I see you wake up early. Are you prepared for our journey? Asks he Petmailer and Gunra ((you are in the main hall too iiuc)).

((Sorry if this part comes out as very sudden and railroady, but I needed you all outside and near each other for this. This was an event that had to happen, sorry,)
Petmailer and Gunra:
You hear the unmistakable sound of thunder, despite the skies being clear. Taking a closer listen, you hear what sounds like a storm coming closer and closer...
Petmailer, when you go to the blacksmith's house, you find him closing the doors, carrying a heavy-looking backpack. He is a tall and bulky human man with red hair, brown eyes and tan skin. His left arm is heavily bandaged. "Sorry mate, I'm busy right now and everything has been packed. But as soon as we are in the move we'll surely have time for whatever you need!" The man, Markguth promises to you as he walks to the caravans.
In the inn, Linan serves coffee and some very quickly made breakfast as her husband finishes packing. The two younger kids look confused, with Zackary still being half-sleep and Zirca just bothering everyone with constant questions. Meanwhile, Roladd seems to have been told a general idea of the situation, as he's taking everything in stride and trying his best to help.
"Where are we going?" Zirca asks. Before either Roladd or their parents could answer, there's a loud sound coming from outside, followed by screams and shouting.
The kids go to the door to investigate, but they are quickly stopped. "Can you guys go see what that is, please?" Cuth says. "We are still a little busy here. We'll join you later."
When you exit the door, the first thing most of you see is chaos: Lightning is striking from above, setting fire to the wooden buildings. The townsfolk are panicking, and they all start to run towards where the caravan were being assembled.
This first thing both Gunra and Petmailer see when they exit the door and look to the sky is an adult blue dragon flying above Greenest. The storm they both had heard earlier has arrived.
You see columns of black smoke starting to rise from burning buildings, running figures than from a distance are little more than dots, but soon reveal themselves to be a horde of cultists. The dragon do not even seems to acknowledge you and after breathing lightning against the inn, it flies away, its dark and winged shape wheeling low over the keep that rises above the center of the town.
The dragon's lightning breath only manages to rise some smoke out of the large stone building, and deciding to not waste time and effort in trying to destroy it, it flies towards far less enduring constructions before flying out of view.
The Keep stands, but the fields and barns are burning and some of the houses are not faring much better. Everywhere you look, you see the same: Greenest in flames.
"Run to the Keep!" You hear someone scream, and the townsfolk start running on that direction, escaping the cultists that were now attacking them.
You hear a scream, and when you turn to look at the inn, there's fire starting to form on the roof. The family exits the door, but they are then quickly attacked by a group of eight kobolds, who upon looking at them have seemingly decided that they looked like easy prey. Cuth is holding a very distressed Zackary as the eight-year old kid cries on his shoulder, and behind his back there's Roladd and Zirca, the twelve year old boy doing his best to also keep his little sister out of harm's way. When the kobolds try to point their weapon towards the kids, Cuth tries his best to shield them.
And Linan... Linan is now wielding the decorative shield and spear that were on the tavern and is trying her best to use them against the kobolds. Anytime the kobolds try to attack her husband or her kids, she strikes back against them with the spear while protecting herself with the wooden shield.
But she's still no fighter, and the kobolds are now getting angry.
"Kill the woman, then kill the other four!" Orders one of the kobolds to the rest. "Kill, pack, kill! For Tiamat's glory!"
Adventurers, what do you do now? Do you leave them and go to the Keep, or do you roll for initiative and fight?
It had all happened so fast. Gunra glances over to Petmailer, grim resolution in his eyes. "We need to find the others, but I cannot watch these people die."
He barrels into the line, alongside Linan. The odds were not grand, but there was little else to do. Without worrying about what his elven friend would do, he raises his battleaxe and brings it down towards the nearest kobold - he had to strike quick and hard if they were to even the odds.
"Asgorath, grant me your aegis!"

Seeing the sudden chaos erupt around her, Harmony curses. They were too late. At least the Keep seemed relatively safe if people could make it there. Calmly and purposefully, she strides towards the group outside the inn, the beginnings of a song cutting through the air.
"When the cold wind is a-calling, and the sky is clear and bright-"
She reaches the side of the cluster opposite Gunra and Linan. In one smooth motion, she unsheathes her rapier, gives it a spin, and stabs it at the torso of the nearest kobold.
"Misty mountains sing and beckon, lead me out into the light."
Her words subtly become laced with magic as she continues, shifting her focus towards Gunra.

Quick as a flash, Petmailer readies his long bow and looses an arrow at the lead Kobold who was barking out the orders. A grim look on his face, he is all business now, bringing the pain to them. After shooting Petmailer moves to maintain a line of sight on the kobolds, aiming for clear shots.
Linan tries to attack with the spear, but her movements lack any real battle practice and all she manages is to make a scratch on the chest of the talking kobold. The kobold, brandishing his own weapon, laughs at her and moves to attack.
Drops of blood splatters on the ground... And the leading kobold falls dead, an arrow deeply burrowed into his skull.
Alerted by the sudden death, the kobold who was nearest tries to attack, but they struck down by Gunra and his battleaxe. While not as clean of a hit as Petmailer's, it does the trick, and the attacking kobold agonizes pathetically in the ground for a moment before expiring.
Two down, six to go.
As Petmailer and Gunra manage to kill two of them, Harmony stabs her rapier into the back of one of the kobolds who was trying to attack the kids.
