((OOC: this really reminds me of Vax on Critical Role campaign 1. Liam used to say, ‘Ok I’m going to tell you what I’d like to do, and you have to tell me if I can do it!’, to the DM… Grwobert THINKS it works like this… but you can tell me if I got it right! Lol))
Ash carved away a chunk of the spiders off her face, and managed to avoid most of the surviving spiders’ bites…
She sees Korrik get overwhelmed… and curses something awful in goblin! (A bad habit she picked up from Fiddnot, but they have some of the best swears!!)…
She tries to hack the remaining spiders off herself first…
…if it hits, add 16sneak attack damage (from Ess being within 5ft?).
If she’s clear of spiders (or even if she’s not), in a blur, she’s beside Korrik ((no attacks of opportunity from Ess’s swarm, as swarms have a range of “0”?)), and feeds him a potion with her bonus action ((as discussed)), sheathing a dagger if necessary to grab the potion and uncork it with her teeth (spits it away, ‘pertoowey…’).
((OOC: [For flavour only]… She’s muttering the whole time, “Not again!… Not a-forking-gain!!…”. And as she approaches Korrik (she’s not prone, but) some of that move, she might have been sliding on her knees!!))
Ash, you're easily able to slash away the rest of the spiders that are on your face. (-16, RIP) and then rush to Korrik.
Regarding the attack of opportunity for the swarm that is on Ess, I agree it will not get the attack due to it's reach. If you were running away from a swarm which was on you, then it'd get one, but you killed yours so all is good.
Ash, you do everything you've described. You do have to swipe some webbing away from his mouth. You hear Korrik gag and choke, and this is NOT pleasant for him. Although neither is dying. (+30)
Ess is freaking out because of his bloody face and seeing Korrik go down. He tries the best he can to frantically shave off the spiders that are on him with his sword.
Shave: 8 Damage: 8
The sword might be too long for him to get any spiders off. He'll have to try again...
He'd also say "Not like this no way no how dudes!!"(13, second wind)
Korrik is up. You are prone and webbed, but alive.
((As Bimz's action, if he does as suggested, won't impact Ben's move-))
Ben moves three tiles to the left so he can see what is happening with the ugly thing and the purple spider monster next to him. He considers the spider and purple monster and decides the monster is probably a bigger threat and calls, perhaps a bit eagerly,
"Purple creature there? We're going to skin you!"
Unsettling words (minus from save): 6
He then starts hissing a terrible song in infernal.
Korrik, you're restrained from the webbing which brings your speed to 0, so I don't even think you could stand at this point. Perhaps roll around a bit, maybe.
I think that's what the dodge would represent in this case, and I think the dodge will just nullify the advantage they get from the prone/restrained conditions. So their attacks (if they attack you) would be regular.
Let me know if that is totally off base, and if it's not I will continue to run this as I have everything now to finish this round and get into the next one. Just want to ask before I run the enemies attacks, etc.
((Ah, right, yes. Flops ineffectively on the floor it is. Mechanically no difference, they'd already have advantage whether he's prone or not, so still straight rolls after dodge.))
So, as per the other thread, Ash took that 3 damage when she moved to Korrik to save him.
Korrik, you try your best to break free of the webs, but you're still not completely with it after just coming to from Ash's potion, and the webs are pretty tight. You're able to wriggle around a bit though and at least are able to take away any advantage that the creatures have should they attack you.
yesBimz darts over to the swarm that was previously on Ash and tries to bite eat them.
Bite: 24 Damage: 6 (damaged halved due to resistance)
Ben, you move over and begin to hiss your song. The creature is really bothered by it and starts to also hiss but not in a happy way. (-16) Similar to the giant spider, this creature also now feels the need to get as far away from you as it can. Therefore, it tries to go down the stairs. This will provoke an AoO from Ash and Korrik. Korrik with disadvantage of course as he's webbed and prone. Might be able to get a good kick in?
After that, I'll continue with the ugly creature's turn.
Yup, the freakish spider humanoid (who you now can get a good look at and can actually see spinnerets on its abdomen) is pretty fast and your dagger is too slow.
((LOL ok I can't help but laugh at that image of Korrik trying to waggle himself enough to get a decent attack in. Hilarious.))
Korrik, the webs are too strong. You're not able to get a decent strike.
The creature gets away and runs down the stairs, now out of your vision.... but for only a moment as it shakes off the effects of Ben's songs and then comes back into view back up the stairs and tries to bite and claw at Ash since she doesn't have spiders all over her.
Bite: 12 Damage: 6 if that hits, add 4 poison damage. Lastly, roll a CON save, DC 11 or be poisoned for 1 minute.
Claws: 23 Damage: 9
The bite misses, but the claws hit, and they cut deep. (-9)
The giant spider tries to bite Korrik again. (straight roll)
Bite: 15 Damage: 10 if hit, then roll CON save DC 11 and take 10 poison damage on a fail, half on a success.
The spider's fangs hit the floor!
Ess's swarm continues to try and bite him.
Ess face bites: 4 Damage: 10
And he's able to squirm and avoid taking any bites.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ash leans in to Korrik and attempts to cut him free from the webbing with her dagger ((can she attempt that?! Normal attack rolls? Can any spare damage (eg 2nd attack if the first one does it!) go against the swarm on him?!))…
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ash, you're able to cut the webbing free from Korrik (-6). (yep the webbing had an AC and HP, both of which you crushed with the first attack.) and then perhaps even more impressive you use your other dagger to shave a good chunk of the spiders on Korrik. (-5 because halved damage)
Ess tries again to awkwardly use his sword to cut some of the spiders off his face.
Longsword cut: 17 Damage: 9
This time he's able to cut a few off. (-3) "THERE'S SO MANY!!"
Korrik is up! You are no longer webbed, but still prone.
I think Ben you could also queue up Bimz turn as well as your upcoming round 4 turn if you'd like.

Ok so Korrik ended up dropping after the horrific face biting. The shite that happened in the mansion was mild compared to this horror.
Korrik to make death save on his turn. His body is also still webbed...
Ash is up!
Ben sends and image to Bimz to help Ash out with the little swarm, if she is done with them, he will change it to Ess.

Korrik struggles to his feet and tries to break free.

He'll us his bonus action and a ki to dodge, whether he's free or not.

Ash and Korrik AoO are up.
Ash tries to stab the creature somewhere vital and painful as it leaves…

TO be continued in a new post.
So the swarm that was on Ash and that is almost dead is going to try and chase her. This provokes AoO from Ess and Bimz
Ess sword cut: 20 Damage: 2
Bimz bite: 14 Damage: 6
Both halved due to resistance.
The spiders are hit by both (-4 total) and that swarm is no more.
The swarm that is on Korrik tries to bite his face, but they don't have advantage as Korrik is rolling around like a mo-fo and dodging.
Kay face bites: 6 Damage: 7
And the little spiders can't seem to get any bites in!
