Erven hit die : 5
Before Erven rests, he goes to Onyx and Sho, asks them both for any healing they can provide prior to resting. He is still significantly injured from the attack by the mimic. He asks Onyx first, for any healing that Lathander could provide. He goes to Sho, head down, nervous, but asks the cleric for any healing that he can perform as well, before we rest. He doesn't ask about the source and has trouble meeting Sho's eye.
Afterwards, Erven stands beside Talion, long bow out and arrow nocked as he investigates and opens the chest. He will help in any manner he can and provide coverage, but he is more paranoid cautious this time, and prefers to let Talion use his mage hand. When we leave this area, instead of being in the front, he wants to be in the middle of the pack, using his long bow currently. He sees very well in the dark and actually prefers it.
Onyx has not rested during this hour, instead checking and rechecking his armor, stowing his shield, and watching for a potential ambush.
When Erven asks him for aid, he starts to shake his head in the negative, but stops, apparently realizing something. From his bag he draws out his second potion of healing and hands it to the elf.
"That is about all I can muster until we get out of here. Be careful. Don't die and waste it."

Another medical problem. Indefinite hiatus. Sorry, all.
Talion calls the elf over and hands him a potion as well, "I've been lucky so far; let me explore the for next little while. You watch my back and make sure Sho is safe; keep your bow ready for anything that attacks us. Not the BEST arrangement, but necessary." He nods in the direction of Onyx, "Hopefully he will also watch my back."
After speaking to the elf, Talion walks over to Onyx, "So...are you willing to back me up, if I take point? I'd feel better with good eyes and strong muscle nearby."
Onyx takes a deep breath, then exhales it in a sigh.
"I'd feel better if Sho saw the light and rejected Vecna. We don't always get what we want." He chews on his lip for a moment and meets Talion's eyes and perhaps relents a little. "You know I can't abide him being behind me. But as long as he sticks close to you, I will follow you both. I won't throw you to the ghouls."

Talion smiles and nods, "That's the Onyx I got to know on the road speaking!" He breathes a genuine sigh of relief, then he looks over at the strange priest, "He'll be a long way back, with his bright glowing light if I have anything to say about it...and with that armour, he couldn't sneak up on a dead cow." He looks around the room, "If you go over here..." he points to the area from the middle to the southeast of the room, "...and Sho goes up that corridor..." he points to the north, "...you'll be able to keep an eye on us both, and I won't have light glaring in my eyes."

Okay let's see... Sho, you are at H12 and your light has a 20-foot radius, which means it will glow from around the corner, somewhat illuminating the area. Erven, you investigate and open the chest and this is what you see inside: - an elegant looking folded cloak, a small wooden coffer, a chain shirt, a mess kit, a flask of alchemist's fire, a bullseye lantern, a set of thieves' tools, and a spellbook with a yellow leather cover After Erven opens the foot locker, he moves away and beside Talion as in the map. [Erven, did you drink the potions? If so, don't forget to roll for the amount healed! I didn't see it above - my bad if you did already]
Talion wants to move the items out of the foot locker and, since he doesn't know what it is in there, he simply grabs an item and lifts it up and starts to pull it back towards him. He grabs the first thing it grabs happens to the the cloak. As it pulls it out of the foot locker, there is a foul moaning in the air. Onyx, Talion, and Erven - as the mage hand removes the item, you see a couple of the walls crumble and birth a wretched humanoid creatures: mottled, decaying flesh drawn tight across clearly visible bones. They are mostly hairless, and have a predator's sharp teeth and jagged claws. A long serpentine tongue flicks forward from its mouth. Their eyes burn like hot coals in their dark, sunken sockets....
They both scream in agony and anger at having their precious belongings touched by some unwanted intruders. The sound is deafening and you think you detect a hint of sorrow in their screams....everyone roll intelligence/history checks please!
I should valso note the spectral hand IS visible, and materialises next to its target
Of course. It says so in description. Do you want to pull out whatever is there? Or did you want to see inside first?
far enough for what? ;)

Far enough that his light is not giving Talion away...
Pull out stuuf, move it to table in mimic room, staying clear of it, then move on to cupboards, if any.
(( Like we did with the armour on the second floor ))
