Onyx leaves the room without further comment, moving with the group. There is the slight protest of metal as he clenches his dark-plated around the hilt of the greatsword. Perhaps he could have been a host for Rose. . . but that ship had sailed.

As you shut the door and rush out of the room, you begin hearing things smash and crash against the walls in the kids' room.
Here is the map. You know what the rooms look like generally but you still don't know if there are "things" in the room. From the dollhouse, you remember that the entrance to the secret stairs to the basement are in Room C...

You get ready in your formation and Onyx tries the door: unlocked. He pushes it open and you find another small bedroom.
This web-filled room contains a slender bed, a nightstand, a rocking chair, a tall wardrobe, and a small iron stove. In the wardrobe, you find a longbow and arrows (20), rope, studded leather armor, a couple short swords, and a mace. There is also a set of leather armor and some darts.

Talion sees what must be his leather armour and his darts, and then catches sight of the studded leather. It takes a considerable effort of will for him to wait as he assists Ervan carefully checking the room for likely traps, his eyes constantly drawn back to them. When they are satisfied it is clear he gathers them up, and starts to check in and under the bed, nightstand, the rocking chair, the wardrobe, and the stove, looking for more hidden items or clues. The Durst's seemed to like hiding things. Who did they fear? Or was it the people who came after? Should we hide things, in case we fall? He glances at his companions and smiles. We won't fall.
Investigation (adv): 16 ((Edit: Didn't click advantage, extra roll: 8)
If no one objects, Bertolt will go observe the studded armor, quickly putting it on if it can fit him. Once it is on he will obviously looks relaxed a bit. If not then he will stow it in the Bag of Holding for later.
Erven sees the long bow and a big smile comes forth on his face. "There you are..." He steps forward if no one objects and takes the long bow and arrows, and the rope. He equips the bow, tests the string, and examines the arrows.
After that, he searches around the room with Talion's help, looking under the bed, in the night stand, etc.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Assuming nothing further is found as a result of the searches, Talion suggests the extra set of Leather Armour could go in the bag, then makes ready to go to the last room, behind Onyx of course...
You find nothing of note - some ledgers and other business papers. Most are linked to the mill you read about earlier and some various imports - incense, candles, cloth - the usual things you would expect a cult to need for rituals.

Erven listens at the door for a few moments and doesn't hear anything definitive. It could be your mind playing tricks on you but you think you hear a breeze blowing through the room. On the breeze, it sounds like faint giggling.
When Onyx opens the door, you peer inside. It is also very dark inside but those of you who can see in the dark note that the dusty chamber is packed with what you assume to be old furniture (chairs, coat racks, standing mirrors, dress mannequins, and the like), all draped in dusty white sheets. Near an iron stove, underneath one of the sheets, is an old wooden trunk with its lid propped open by a bulky white sheet. The sheet looks a bit discoloured in your vision, and shadows dance around it. There are some darker spots on it as well.
There are many pieces of furniture (you think) in this room - at first glance about 10 - and you hear the sheets rustling as they move faintly in the breeze. As for where this breeze is coming from, you note an open window on the south side of the room, leading to a balcony that joins up with the room you first explored (the one with the creepy doll).
Thinking back to the dollhouse replica, you glance to your right and see the tell-tale outline of a door. As you look at it, a sense of dread washes over you. Onyx and Sho, when you get near this door you feel it strongly - a strong evil or malignancy lurks somewhere beyond this door...
Onyx enters, bullheaded as always, and points to the outline of the door.
"That's dangerous, don't open it yet."
Thinking about how the group has been operating, he eyes the trunk warily but leaves it alone. Instead, he methodically begins removing the sheets from the furniture, actively seeking a hidden threat that might not exist here.

Sho’s fingertips reach to touch the silvery rim of the circlet on his forehead, kindling it the dweomer of light, a glowing halo resting upon his head, with gentle luminescence draping around him. He stares at the secret door for a second, couldn't shake the eerie feeling behind it, in compromise he decides to leave it for now, sharing Onyx’s sentiment. Presumably Talion and Erven will examine the wooden trunk, he moves behind Onyx but past him, looking out the window, searching for signs of the creepy doll…

After he helps Ervan checking the room for traps and other secrets, Talion works with Ervan to investigate what might be hidden in the furniture, under the floorboards, in the walls and, finally, in the chest. As he approaches the chest, he sizes it up in comparison to his current chest, wondering if it might be bigger or lighter, before moving behind Onyx and using Mage Hand to slowly lift out the sheets, placing them to the side, along with any other contents he can see from a distance.
Investigation: 11
Edit: He will get closer to the chest if necessary, using Onyx as a shield -- if he is willing!

As Ervan claims the long bow, Talion nods to the crossbow he carries. "Do you still need that?"
Erven turns to Talion and says "Nope, I have what I need in this bow. Here you go - " He hands the light crossbow to Talion.
