((Ok, so Doru crawled along the ceiling and went through the doorway we all entered? Unless it was some kind of cathedral door to the basement I'd think perhaps Talion would at least get a swipe at him but *shrug* Not sure Talion would have a weapon at the ready to attack with anyway..))
Everlie turns and does his best to chase after Doru. Pushing aside his new companions, he would do his best to run up the stairs, through the door and to get eyes on Doru so as to pull a hand axe from his belt and chuck it at the wall crawler!
(30 ft movement then up to 60 ft range for the axe... If Doru is visible to Everlie.)
Thrown Hand Axe Attack: 25 Damage: 8
Moving through your companions slows you down a bit and you just see Doru leave the building as you haul back for an axe throw. You could decide to continue running after him?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Osgar becomes invisible and flies out of the basement in pursuit of Doru, using his full movement. Talion hurries to keep up, his hand glowing with arcane energy and ready to attack the moment he sees the vampire. Talion will maintain mental contact with Osgar, and let his companions know if Doru is sighted, and where.
Talion Action: Readied Eldritch Blast Attack: 18 Damage: 11 Talion Movement: Pursue, moving 30' based on where Osgar says Doru is (if he can find Doru) Osgar Action: Become invisible Osgar Movement: fly 60'
just a quick map for reference. Talion, Osgar finds Doru on the steps of the church outside. Everlie is already there and Erven joins seconds later. Bert only moved you 30, just let me know if you want to join the party. Sho also.
(No I want to attack but have no reference to know if I can even get close enough. I am pretty sure at this point though we lost Doru. Should have had Ismark or one of them seal the door behind us....)
Erven would like to push the issue, he pursues with wood elf speed, dashing, looking to put an end to Doru before he becomes stronger. If it is still daylight he thinks that pursuing him outside, out of his lair would be even better.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
As you have already encountered Strahd outside, you would know that Barovian sunlight is a relative term.... In fact, Doru is already outside and none the worse for wear, though.....
[ill be traveling back home today so won’t be able to get a map or anything up, just an FYI].
((Are we out of initiative now? If so, Erven dashes upstairs. With hunters mark, he has advantage on tracking Doru.))

Bertolt curses and moves to give chase after the vampire spawn, knowing that if he got out there would he no chance of catching him.

If Everlie cannot get within 60’ so as to throw the axe then he will use his action to dash after Doru…
Bert - same as Everlie? Do you want to Dash as well to try to find Doru?
Everlie - you want to get to melee with the spawn? Your rage will end also.

(( Just checking -- Talion didn't make it from the top of the stairs out of the building to get in sight of Doru? ))

Everlie's Rage will end no matter what if he cannot attack that turn so yeah, he may as well rush up into melee...
(No I want to attack but have no reference to know if I can even get close enough. I am pretty sure at this point though we lost Doru. Should have had Ismark or one of them seal the door behind us....)
Not quite but you could probably keep somewhat close if you all would like to force the issue.

"Stop fleeing and fight us you worthless leech!" Bertolt calls out, putting magic into the words as he cast Vicious Mockery hoping Doru is in range.
Doru needs to make a DC 14 wis save or take 3 psychic Damage if in 60ft range.
Talion, do you want to use dash to catch up within sight of Doru?
I will assume that you do and place you outside.
