Sho's happy letting Talion flex his crowbar-prying-leveraging skills, sealing up the crypts once again. He gives the tombs one last look, before turning his gaze back. "I charge extra for those." He answers, straight-faced.
Okay, with Onyx leading the way - beat up as he is - you head west from this room. You climb a set of stairs and quickly come to an intersection: a hall leading south and down some stairs or following straight ahead. If you go straight, you can see ahead that there are a set of stairs leading down into a more open room (you can just make out what looks like a room with a bed in the darkness).
Another point to note is that as you approach the intersection, the chanting you hear seems significantly louder to the south, where a set of stairs leads further into the darkness.
Talion looks south and shudders, "Lets keep moving west, check the rooms, then circle back north and east to the start. We still have Esme's bones, and there's some empty crypts there."
(( Do we remember the round thing in the centre of the next room from the dollshouse? ))
Sho looks down the darkness south, where the incessant chanting is creeping out from, and frowns. "My guess is, the cultists are just down there." He says, with an obvious hint of disdain in his voice. "They haven't come up to look for us, could be that they don't know we are here, though - " He gestures around, "we can hear them, and they can most certainly hear us. Unless they are plain imbeciles, which is very possible, considering their religion of choice. In the off chance that they are not complete morons, this means whatever nonsense ritual or ceremony they are performing, is more important than dealing with us. That, or they are preparing something and waiting for us."
"We might not have the luxury to shop around." He says.

Bertolt looks towards the south but goes to follow after the group, keeping his hand on his weapons at all times as they move through the crypt. "Let us not dally for long. The sooner we take our leave of this place the sooner that we may return to a place that still has some semblance of sanity."
"Actually, for this part, I wish to lead. Because I want to sneak into this room and see what is there. Can you wait here a minute?" Erven puts his hand on Onyx's shoulder and asks him to hold as he descends and goes forward into the main chamber that connects to A-E. Looking as stealthily as he can for any creatures or cultists that might be there. He takes out his long bow for this portion, acting as scout.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
When Erven puts his hand on Onyx's shoulder, he is met with an imperious, contemptuous glare. Onyx does not interfere if Erven is able to hustle ahead, but he does not pause or skulk as he marches to that main chamber in good own unsubtle fashion.

Erven sees the look Onyx gives him and is concerned. This magical sword that he carries, is it corrupting him? Why is my companion that I’ve fought beside looking at me with contempt?

With both Erven and Onyx trying to lead, it creates a bit of an awkward situation with both trying to get into the chamber. However, Erven is able to slip in first with Onyx directly following and the rest of you further behind. Erven gazes back as he slinks forward, blending in with the shadows and keeping his longbow in front. You sense something is off with the yuan-ti, and you resolve to ask him just as soon......
Erven's thought is cut short as he steps onto the second square after the stairs, and feels it sink into the ground. He hears the "whoo-thums!" of projectiles! He has stepped on a pressure plate trap!

Two bolts from hidden crossbows chunk out from the shadows on a straight line, right at Erven: 1. Attack:21Damage:2 - on a hit, roll a CON save (DC15) or take 16 poison damage (half as much on a successful save). 2. Attack:27Damage:3 - on a hit, roll a CON save (DC15) or take 16 poison damage (half as much on a successful save).
After the initial surprise, Talion will move forward, following Bertolt, and try to help him in his search. (( though it doesn't look like it will be needed ))
As he follows behind the old scholar he realizes that the man is throrough and methodical -- more so than Talion has ever been -- and misses little. Maybe his past isn't as boring as it sounds.
@Bert, Erven, Talion Scouring the room, you find no evidence of any other pressure plates or traps. The small hidden compartments where the crossbows fires from house both the crossbows, some bolts, and about half a vial of poison each. You find a chest in each of the quarters. Bert your investigation Of the chests reveals that they are not locked or trapped as far as you can tell.
You also find papers strewn about, some detailing various beliefs of the cult - it seems they held some character named Strahd as a deity - this meshes with what you’ve discovered earlier. You also find a cryptic, incomplete piece of writing - it looks written in haste - but it details the cultists themselves being slaughtered by vampires due to some transgression. It ends abruptly and is stained brown. Yet another parchment - better preserved but still bloody - lists dozens of names and dates. The last entry has several notes beside it. Words like “mistake” “we didn’t know” and “damned” are written.
Bertolt will gather the writings, reading over them before carefully placing them in his bag as they may be useful later. With his taste for knowledge satiated for now, the bard will now let his curious nature guilds him as he opens both of the chests to study their contents.
A 4-foot-diameter well shaft with a 3-foot-high stone lip descends 30 feet to a water-filled cistern. A wooden bucket hangs from a rope-and-pulley mechanism bolted to the cross-beams above the well.
A. This chest contains 11 gp and 60 sp in a pouch made of human skin. B. This chest contains three moss agates in a folded piece of black cloth. C. This chest contains a black leather eyepatch with a carnelian sewn into it. D. This chest contains an ivory hairbrush with silver bristles. E. This chest contains a silvered shortsword.
@Talion None of the names strike a chord; the last entry simply reads "adventurers from Vallaki"
