Gintarou stares at the compass as he squints his eyes in the sunlight. A puzzled look is on the warrior's face. "I think the compass indicates…underground? It's hard to tell which road will lead us to the fallen star. Kraven-dono, can you scout one of them please?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kraven hops up into the air and flies up to the treetops to look around and then will fly about 100' of the path towards the volcano to see what is going on and then will change direction and then fly the other way to see what is up.

Then he will report back and inform the group of what he saw.
Kraven the path makes a U shape, both opening up on an open area that is some what a beach. From this height you can see that there are holes in the sides of the volcano, all have rivers of lava pouring out.
Now putting these two together, the opening the the paths lead to is right next to what looks like an easy climb, that again has openings into the volcano, EXCEPT they do not have lava flowing from them.
As for the perception about feeling like your being watched, no don’t see anything.
"Right, then. Six or a half-dozen and all that. Onward and upward, as they say!" Mist says with a half-hearted fist pump as he starts down the path toward the volcano.
Gintarou compares Kraven's information and compass. "Returning to our boat by midnight seems impossible. Good thing is that we had a big meal already and no need to worry about food…for now" He says with a bitter smile. The warrior decides to keep the torch attached to polearm.
"Well it appears there are some caves we can go into up towards the volcano, and if that compass is pointing down, that is probably the way to go." And then Kraven will hop along behind Mist and then turn around to wait for the others.
(I am not going to worried about food and all that, I do it on the front side of things, I shave number or side of dice to cut down on how much you get and call that buying food. Big spell componets not so much.)
I want to make sure I am correct, you want to go up hill not down hill.
You all follow the path up a few twists and turns lead you up and around to a huge clearing, one edge of the clearing is forest, the other is a cliff, if you look over it you see the clearing that you originally thought to scale, from the about 200 feet up you can't see the skeleton. However several more long dead skeletons are in the clearing, it is easy to see that they have been dead the same amount of time as the one at the bottom. There are three large difference first the bones you can see naw marks on where you can assume animals are the dead flesh from their bones. The second is that the bodies are spider webs covering them. Lastly in the hands are just hilts of swords, and axes, the blades long gone. Archers with bow grips only still in their hand, and arrows in the skeletons, but there is no arrow head on them. You do find 3 weapons still in their sheath and a strange quiver, where the arrows get put in there is something that keeps it covered and 7 arrows in it.
Each of these weapons and the quiver all have similar writing on them as the sword did, each with a different name but the are all +1 and drow made meaning that once the metal sees day light they have 1 hour left, so for the sake of PbP I would say 1 encounter in the day light, if you use it in the dark the are good to use again.
The arrows are the same, if you use them I the dark a general d100 roll, DC 66 to see if you recover it, please make that check after firing it to see if you need to remove it.
"The weapons look to be more Drow made," Druquilla remarks as Kraven watches the quiver. "So be careful and don't knock an arrow out here else the head will rust like these seemed to have."
Druquilla looks the other weapons over then picks up the scimitar, "I'd be interested in this one unless someone else wants it. Think the other sword would be a good fit for you Gintarou don't see it as being useful to a lot of us."
"Gintarou, which way is the compass pointing?" Aubric asks looking around
The compass is kind of splitting the difference between the two, also the neddle has been normally level, but now it is somewhat pulling down.

As you are picking up the weapons you hear a noise come from the trees, and you see 3 giant spiders come out from the tree line, they look hungry.
You all may take your turns, you are all 30-60 feet from them, up to you.
