Rhogar whispers to Stoopeed like a walking dead writer, “Blades are good for keeling zombies in dee head but blunty weapons are good for smashing skellies...at least in my training as an undead battle master...”
The corridor is lined on either side with bones stacked upon bones. Macabre formations of crossed femurs and skulls that look to be grinning at you. You spot the odd collection of disturbed bones, the occasional open sarcophagus. Eventually, a T Intersection confronts you. To the left, you see the flickering of firelight, to the right, cobwebs cover the path, which appear to be quite old.
"Firelight" Folsorm says "It's likely a trap, but the first part of getting out of a trap is to know that you're in one, or, at least I think that's what they say"
Walking towards the firelight, you eventually near an octagonal chamber, where you can see into the chamber from the dark hallway where you stand about 30 feet away. You see several humanoid figures in black robes surrounding an altar that appears to be fashioned from skulls. The figures chant as an emaciated and sallow-skinned man, wearing the same robe, but with hood thrown back, revealing a hollow-cheeked face with lank black hair, approaches the altar. Behind the man, two larger hooded figures hold a woman whose fine features are marred by bruises and split lips. She is wearing the habit of a priestess of the Lord of Light. The chanting continues in intensity to a fever pitch.
The room looks to be 30 x 30 roughly, but the people are ringed in one outer layer of cultists around the walls, with the altar and the weirdo and the priestess and 2 thugs holding her in the middle. She appears dazed.
Folsorm senses an opportunity to strike quick and panic our foes. He pulls his bow out, and gestures to the others to do the same (bows, knives, whatever could be used to strike quick).
Stoopeed shows his flails, raises his shoulders in an apologetic way. He approaches the door and is ready to run and attack as soon as he feels the range weapons flying left and right (hopefully not dead center) of him.
Taking his cue from Folsorm, Lyoko takes out a javelin that he intends to throw at one of the figures holding the Sister as he runs in. When appropriate
Rhogar waits until his friends start their surprise attacks. When they do, he will move up to the 30x30 room and release a fifteen foot cone of fire to the cultists on the right side.
Roll dex save (dc11) or take half damage. Would they have disadvantage because they are surprised? Fire Cone damage: 6

Which way? Vote!
I vote firelight. (LEFT)
I vote firelight (left).
I'm with the group, firelight sounds better than cobwebs... although I'm sure that's part of your evil plan.

What do you do?
We are 30 feet away FROM the room or we could reach one of those cultists in 30 feet?
30 feet from the room. They are so involved with the ritual that they don't notice you.

As he'll run, Hell RAGE.
Standing by.
Lyoko's normally stoic face shows some signs of anger upon seeing the Sister in this state. He stands ready to charge the room, "Say when."
Taking his cue from Folsorm, Lyoko takes out a javelin that he intends to throw at one of the figures holding the Sister as he runs in. When appropriate
