Pressing on, the man’s directions prove true. The gloominess of the dark tunnels yields to a fountain where a statue of a kneeling man hands a lit torch to a youth. The fountain illuminates an area roughly thirty feet wide. There is a passage to the left and a passage to the right. The light illuminates the floor and the dust upon it.
Rhogar assumes the statuary commemorate a moment where a grandfather made a grave error in supervising his grandson by giving him a torch for a birthday present.
Lyoko recognizes the statuary in the fountain to be inspired by a famous passage from the scriptures of one of the holy books of the Servants of the Light:
"Lo, we are but servants of the Lord of Light, our lives are mere vessels to pass the light of truth, knowledge, courage, kindness, and justice. Thus do the olders teach the younger, that they may carry the light long enough to pass it on themselves to a new generation. Thus it must always be. Darkness can not defy the light so long as the living endeavor to carry the torch."
Stoopeed watches the dust and says: « We really should pay attention here. Why does the fountain cleans this place??Also. I’m kind of allergic to dust.
Rhogar slowly rises with golden eyes squinted...”be careful mine frends...there are undead skeletons and flesh eating undead nearby. Prepare your blunty weapons.”
As if obeying Rhogar like he were an army general, Stoopeed Connard’s longsword and battle axe are stowed away, then he pulls 2 flail. His eyes are focused. His only objective : protect the Ducon dinasty. His drive unshakable. He starts to.... « wait » he says « why blunt?! I love my blades! »
Lyoko nods and pushes forward toward the fountain, following their directions.

Rhogar moves closer to the statue looking at it for some clue as to its origins or meaning.

Rhogar assumes the statuary commemorate a moment where a grandfather made a grave error in supervising his grandson by giving him a torch for a birthday present.
Lyoko is also interested in the meaning of the statute and searches his memory for it's meaning.
History: 23
Lyoko recognizes the statuary in the fountain to be inspired by a famous passage from the scriptures of one of the holy books of the Servants of the Light:

Digg makes a superstitious holy blessing on himself, though, he's not sure what it means as he's not too religious. "That sounds ominous."

STOOPEED throws a copped in the fountain then drinks from it.
Lyoko tells the group about the fountain and is ready to follow the trail to find the lady when they are.
Nothing happens when you throw in the copper. The water is cool and clean.
You note knee-high (to a human) mounds of dust and ash at the very edge of the light cast by the fountain's torch.
Stoopeed watches the dust and says: « We really should pay attention here. Why does the fountain cleans this place??Also. I’m kind of allergic to dust.
Folsorm looks at the dust and ash, anything peculiar stand out?
Perception 21
Folsorm notes that some of the dust has foot prints in it, long and thin, but nothing past the piles of dust.
Nature check or medicine check to examine the foot prints, anyone?
Rhogar will take a knee and make a medicine check.

Stoopeed rolls Nature: 9
Roghar rocks (he thinks to himself) I'm glad I saved him.
To Stoopeed, it looks like a barefoot human stumbled while chasing a Big Bird!
To Rhogar, it looks like the long thin tracks made by the skeletal feet of reanimated skeletons and the shuffling footprints of zombies.
Rhogar slowly rises with golden eyes squinted...”be careful mine frends...there are undead skeletons and flesh eating undead nearby. Prepare your blunty weapons.”
Rhogar pull out his mace and shield.
Lyoko drops his visor and raises his shield, "Lead the way..."
