A mated pair of exceptionally old and large subterranean lizards have chosen this spot to raise their four young, it seems. They appear docile, as long as none of you get too close.
"Are we going to slaughter these lizards or will we continue on?" If the party opts to not reasonlessly slaughter these lizards, Voltan will proceed on to Area 19.

Splat growls. Giant Lizards had been the end of many of his fellow kobold comrades. Giants, though, were the primary reason for this pleasant excursion to the countryside. The kobold follows Voltan towards area 19, surprisingly at home with the shadows in the caves.
AREA 19 is a huge natural cavern. About eight orcs are here, and they look like they're planning some sort of rebellion. Someone better let them know they're wasting their time.
"Your oppressors have been slain. Join the rest of your people and plan out your new lives." Voltan starts to wonder how none of the orcs heard the sounds of 30 or so giants getting massacred.

The rebel orcs have piled finished and rough stones against the north side of this door to keep it closed. The wooden door is bound with moldering bands of bronze, and a heavy bronze bolt secures it. Beyond the door, the corridor that leads to the southwest is disused, dusty, and reeks disgustingly.
Voltan's nose curls as the party approaches the stinky door. "I don't know what lies beyond that door, but perhaps the orcs have done us a favor in making entry difficult."

Xenophon: Topaz Dragonborn Fighter (ixi's Dragon of Icespire Peak)
Icarus was in the midst of limbering up for lifting some more boulders, seeing how much he impressed the group with his previous display of athletic prowess, when the group decided to leave the basement.
Temporarily disappointed, he quickly forgot all about that when he walked past some of the rotting dead bodies of the giants they previously disposed of. Taking a short break, he proceeded to drink another few gallons of their blood before venturing on. Hopefully satiating his immense desire for blood, if at least temporarily. Besides, Splat looked like he had no more than a cup or two of blood within his tiny body....not enough to bother with surprising him in the middle of the night with a pleasant little nibble and blood letting.
Paeris kept to the back, watching the party's rear in case any of the orcs or other creatures they encountered opted to give chase. Hearing the opinion to move on, he could feel the resonance of his blade craving more excitement, not missing a beat, he'd support the veteran's statement, "I agree. We've found nothing of true worth or utility down here. We should move on to the next target."
A rather blood-soaked Splat hastily agrees with moving on towards the next target. The Giants here had been slain, and as far as Splat was concerned, the mission here was complete - while he held no love for orcs, Giants were his sworn enemy. Splat picks his teeth with a splintered bone as he grumbles to himself about leaving the investigative duties to be handled by the weaker spellcasters. He hefts the large, magnificently-crafted shield he can only assume to be designed by Giants, for Giants, cutting a comical figure as he scuttles onwards.
PART TWO - THE GLACIAL RIFT OF THE FROST GIANT JARL
Dozens of leagues to the north and west of the Steading of the Hill Giant Chief, amid the tallest mountain peaks, is the stronghold of Grugnur, Lord of Frost Giants. As frost giants have been among those who have been in the reaving bands, you all are to deal with them as they did the hill giants: death and destruction are to be meted out to the frost giants in the same measure they gave these things to the peoples below. Any treasure taken is to be kept by you all; this is your reward for the perils you must face—and you are bound to face many in the weird ice caves and rocky caverns of the jarl.
The caves and caverns herein are basically formed from ice, with a few areas of rock outcropping here and there. Several cave mouths on this level are blocked by huge boulders (at the places marked B on the map). Caves and caverns have ceilings from 30 to 45 feet high, while tunnels and passages are from 25 to 30 feet high. Throughout this level a faint greenish light penetrates from above, making torches or similar lights unnecessary.
Take a look at the very top of the map. You will see a thin tunnel coming from the top of the map. This is where you begin. You slide into the area that says "250' E" or 225' E".
Prior to any actions taken to head down the tunnels, Paeris, now dressed in warmer clothing, channels his patron's magic to cloak most of the party Invisibility. Sadly, he is forced to leave out one person, but he has faith in Icarus' abilities to hide.
Upon entering the cave, seemingly alone, Icarus casts Disguise Self on himself, making him look like a Yeti. He'll then start walking towards area 2 like he owns the place.
This area appears to be a guardroom, containing one Frost Giant keeping watch. As Icarus enters the area, he immediate grabs a rock and throws it at you, because frost giants and yeti are not friends.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Splat shivers violently through the heavy cloaks he adorned in preparation for this mission. Invisibility was a useful thing when you weren't being attacked.
(How are you "completely invisible"?)
