HAHAHA oh this is gonna be wonderful. josias stands up. looking at the secretary and basil.  now i believe i should be off. i have other business to attend to. he heads out looking for the messanger that he gave his money to earlier. and the group of gladiators.  

he smiles big and wide looking at the stone shapers at work. 

The next battle will pit Viator and Zævrt against Toren and 'Ladybug' 

This is one round 2-v-2 with... 1 King of the Hill. 3 rounds before the flag (¥) is active. 5 more rounds to capture the hill, or last team standing.

The time: 1.....The weather has begun to clear. It is mid-afternoon, and bright sun light is a welcome change. The fans are energetic in the stands.

The competitors enter. Viator clad in shining plate. Zævrt craving the love of the crowd. Toren face smudged with ink, and 'Ladybug' hoping to find a place he belongs.

"Have we got a show for you today! Magic reins! These 4 each feels its touch. And they each found a different source. Searching within himself, using the energy within to effect the world... Laynaar Lady Bug!"

"Supporting the dragon in battle. A man who draws his magic from books. Through careful study he's learned to control the threads of power in the universe... Toren Tickle Whiskers!"

The arena has been reformed. The ground has long lush grass growing in thick muddy soil. The center of the field is dominated with an enormous glacier. The area is dotted with a few flimsy trees adorned with icicles rather than leaves. The walls of the glacier are a mixture of ice and soil and snow. On its surface are erratic, jagged walls of wind-blown ice spikes, and in its center is an island in a lake of smooth ice. The flag (%) stands there. Moving on the ice is difficult, and attempts to trip or push characters on the ice will have advantage.

Viator moves to G4, climbing the glacier and taking cover behind the ice spikes. He gets ready to throw himself to the ground behind the ice's full cover if the mage sends those magic missiles his way. (OOC: If the DM rules that I can't use my reaction to do this or that it wouldn't stop the spell from landing anyway, then Viator will dodge.)

(You can avoid Magic Missile by being behind full cover your readied action will take place after its trigger. Move if he casts won't help. Move if I see him can.)

what is the Ω character, and how does moving around it work

(Walls will give full cover unless you either attacked this turn or were in front of the cover before moving this turn. Otherwise someone will gain sight if they can see the center of your square from the center of theirs. The lawyerly way I put it in the public notes:

"When intending to use effective cover your opponent will need to be able to see the center of your space from the center of theirs to have visibility (line of sight) with 3/4 cover if you do not attack and approach from behind cover. Otherwise any visibility (from any part of your square to any part of their square) will give line of sight with applicable cover.")

Toren follows suit.
