"Good morning Eku, Azaka! Grand that ye can work together with us. Aye think we can help ye with yer quests?"

He looks to the others for confirmation,

"Are the places yer needing to go close? And on the way to Omu?"

He pulls out the map and asks them to show the group where they want to go and the best routes to get there.

"We need canoes? Or will we be walking?"

He'll also ask about the other places he heard about and see if they are on the way.

((I think we need to go to Ekene for the canoes, right? Also she sells some other stuff? Maybe she'll contribute to the quest like the other princes...

Do we handle the Jobal part or do Eku and Azaka? Was Salida working for Jobal too?))

Alton would as usual allows Evo to do most of the talking. He waits for a response from the two guides, and is ready to interject if need be. 
(if gold is a problem, between Gotur, the group fund, and Alton, we should be able to cover most of the fees)

Phillip is glad about how things are panning out. He chips in with, “We’ll help with your quests! Uh huh, yep yep yep!...”.

((He thinks it makes sense to see some of the princes today:

- the guide one, to check if there are others they would recommend or if we are all set with the two we have. And to pay?? Or does that go to the guide?

- the one to ask about canoes.

- and to ask them BOTH if they would back our quest or contribute.

Phillip would also be interested in the plan of attack: where to enter the jungle, what looks like the best route through the quests, and hearsay, and main goal. But maybe that’s what we do when we sit down proper with the guides. Or is that now?

Both Eku and Azaka kind of chuckle a bit and explain that both of their locations of interest are definitely on the way to Omu. "We shall be getting to know each other quite well on this journey I imagine." Azaka says as Eku nods in agreement. Eku then says "My new friends. Omu is... a great distance away. We shall be travelling for days upon days upon days and you all should be ready and aware of this." she shows you all where Omu is on the map in relation to their own quest locations. 

Eku continues "Well, since none of you can fly, yes I believe a canoe would be the best bet. I will not be sitting in that thing though." Azaka laughs. "Hmmm... perhaps I shall not either. We shall see. But yes. You all should be in one. Might be the best way to start, anyhow."

They would suggest that the party starts the journey by taking the river Tiryki south towards Firefinger to get to Azaka's quest. Entry point being the hex at Port Nyanzaru. 

Eku's quest will bring the party quite west after that... and then a long way south to Omu. All of this would be discussed in great detail and this meeting would take an hour or two I would think. This is obviously a super high level plan and we can plan as much as you want before we depart. We will have a lot of time to decide which way we go as we travel as well.

Eku and Azaka will take care of funneling the payment back to Jobal and also to other charities in the city. Azaka winks at you when you pay her. 

Is the next plan to go to Goldenthrone to perhaps buy some things from some princes and/or see if they can help in any way? ((Phillip's suggestions)) And then the next morning, depart? The guides are ok with that plan and like the idea of leaving in the morning. 

I have and am currently adding a good chunk of info to the Map of Chult tab about the guides quests and how travel will work as well as info about each location. It's going to take a while, and I have likely missed a ton of stuff, so please ask if something is unclear or if you want info about any of the locations on the map and I will add it to the list on the left. 

*also, I am happy to skim through the transactions at Goldenthrone if you want. (if they will help $$$, what they will give for free, what they can sell, and I'll add all of their pics, etc.)

"It would, and it should likely take more than double that time. It is Jobal who makes the decisions about these payment matters." Eku replies.

"So we'd need to negotiate with him as to whether you are guiding on a flat rate or on commission? If it's the flat rate, then when would you need payment once we are beyond the initial 30 days? Are your supplies, rations and the like included in the fee and you take care of it, or is that something we need to provide?"

"Uh, if yer not in the boats how ye going to keep up? Swimming? Isn't it better to stick together?"

I will get a summary of the princes information and warez as soon as I can, but yeah let's zip through that piece! As for the canoe - yeah I saw the 6 medium person capacity which I feel is very silly. I think you guys should have to buy 2. If you do want to stuff all of you in one though I will allow it but you're going to have to RP a crowded canoe :D

One of the guides will not be travelling in the canoe most of the time, so that will help with room. Even then I still think you guys should buy 2. Just my 2 cents!

Maybe the prince will give you one, or two. Once I get there, I will decide!
