Seeing or hearing no more nearby pterafolk, Alton unloads the crossbow and puts it away. He will then spend the turn (and any after that which may be necessary) to move through the cavern to collect his daggers. With bonus action and action dash, he should have a total of 100 feet of movement which should be enough.
The first two are in the eastern portion of the cave, and the other is in the south. I’d estimate it to be about 13 squares of movement to collect them all.
Seeing Azaka dash out of the chimney, and hearing her engaged in battle, Phillip clambers up the last 10ft of the chimney and hops out at the top, quickly looking about.
The only pterafolk he sees, is the slightly different one, engaged with Azaka. The monster takes a swipe at her!.... “Get away from her, you bbbbb-b... Bird!”.
And with that, he draws his bow, licks the tip, and shoots at the last pterafolk((He’ll move to get the best shot he can, but it’s through a door and past his friends, so maybe there’s still some cover to beat?))
Alton, you swiftly go through the cave and gather all of your daggers, they have pterafolk blood and goo on them :) You have a bit of movement left due to the dash, so you are also able to move back with Evo to see what might be next.
Phillip, the creature does have cover due to Azaka, but it matters not. Your aim is true, and the arrow sticks into the creature, causing major internal damage along with the poison now surging through its body. (-15). The grung then hops (I love that) back into the chimney. (keeping the icon big because, well I like looking at it)
Eku then starts speaking telepathically to who Evo and Alton assume must be the aarakocra because of how it is reacting. It seems SO happy! After Eku finishes whatever it is she was saying to it, she yells out to Alton and Evo"The aarakocra is an ally. I will explain once this is finished." She then flies up and lands on the top of the tower and also tells Phillip and Azaka and Gotur that the aarakocra is an ally. She says to them "Let's end this."
Gotur, this time the pterafolk cannot avoid the tendril, and it wraps around the creature, pulling it to the floor and ripping its flesh at the same time.
The Aarakocra flies up to join Eku, and it starts to converse with her in its language which only Eku can understand. Phillip, you can see that this Aarakocra looks so happy!
The pterafolk now tries to bite and claw at Gotur as that was the last person who attacked it and brought it to the floor.
Bite: 9 Damage: 9
Claw: 18 Damage: 3
Claw: 18 Damage: 5
The bite misses, but it manages to use its claws quite efficiently on the half orc.
Azaka gives a loud angry "ROARRRR" in reaction to Gotur getting clawed.
Alton is up! Maps are updated. Phillip can queue as well!
On his turn, Phillip will ‘hop’ back out of the chimney again and line up another shot at the large pterafolk. He licks the tip of another arrow, and shoots over Azaka’s shoulder ((I assume there’s some cover again))...
((Phillip will miss that shot, so I'll go ahead and process it before Alton's turn, especially since he's on the third level still))
Phillip, you couldn't get a clear shot this time. Azaka is freaking out in there waving her paws around and you can't see sh*t and you miss by a mile. The arrow actually flies mere inches from Azaka's neck, and she looks back at you with a flash of rage and growls and says "ENOUGH. I GOT IT."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Alton readies one of his throwing daggers, prepared and waiting for more hostiles.
Evo, Eku would respond telepathically "there's one left. I give it 10 seconds, then all will be clear. I think we can scour the place once this last one is dead and then head back down to see how we will all get down. Hold on." she then flies by Azaka into the tower and tries to bite at the boss pterafolk
Attack: 25 Damage: 11
Her fangs dig deep into the creature's body, and her poison surges through it and renders it unconscious.
And she rips the last pterafolk apart. She growls deeply, and then it sinks in what Gotur had said about the magic. "It's... it's ok. We will figure out a way down for me. Let's check this place. My mask has to be somewhere."
Combat is over.
As a refresher about the top of the tower:
The spire’s pinnacle is flat and roughly 40 feet square. The edges are crumbling away; it wouldn’t be safe to stand too close to any of them. Vines and low brush grow in profusion. Bones and scraps of meat from dozens of creatures are scattered everywhere. A crumbling stone tower rises another 30 feet above the northern corner of the platform. A roaring flame floats in the air, hovering above the tower.
Firefinger’s pinnacle is 300 feet above ground.
Inside the tower are crude nests and four moldy wooden chests.
"Oh, it's not a problem. Here.", Gotur says as he concentrates and taps her feet with his staff, a thin tendril growing off and crossing over to Azaka, twining around and forming another pair of climbing footwear, the tendrils able to adhere easily to the surface of the tower.
"I have some casting left to me, since I didn't need to do anything big up here to take out the pterafolk... in fact, if you head down before it runs out an hour, and I rest in the meantime, I can get Alton and Evo down the same way and we won't need to bother with the whole ladders and the like. That would tap me out for the day, but I'm guessing you'd rather not camp up on top of this tower anyway, so assume we're setting up Evo's tent as soon as we get down?"
((Don't think I had described the flavor before!))

As Phillip’s arrow goes awry ((critical miss)) he winces, but he’s not at all ready for Azaka to round on him, full of fury! He literally falls on his backside from the shock of the outburst..
Then, as he pushes himself back up onto his elbows, he sees her just tearing the unconscious pterafolk limb from limb.
Leaving his bow on the ground where he dropped it, he stands up and tries to surreptitiously equip his little shield. And with his other hand, just dips the tips of his fingers inside his magical component pouch, just in case. All the while, not taking his bulbous eyes off of the frenzied were-tiger.
As the fight subsides though, and Gotur talks to Azakaand re-casts his magic, the situation seems to start to calm down, and Phillip’s muscles relax just a little.
His name is Nephyr. He hails from Kir Sabal, and Eku is on good terms with the aarakocra of Kir Sabal.
Nephyr was ambushed by pterafolk while on patrol and is grateful to be set free and also to see Eku again. They seem to be quite close. Before Nephyr departs, he urges the party to visit Kir Sabal and specifically petition Asharra to perform the Dance of the Seven Winds. This dance, he says, is part of a magical ritual that grants nonflying creatures the ability to fly.
As for Kir Sabal - Eku tells you about it. It is an ancient monastery overlooking the jungle from its perch on the cliff of a tall plateau. It is 500ft in the air! Kir Sabal is home to a flock of aarakocra and a peaceful sanctuary where heroes can find rest and safety — if they can reach it.Eku is on very good terms with them.
There are a few things to do at Kir Sabal if the party ever decides to go there. I've uncovered the location on the map (SE of Firefinger). Eku would give the entire downlow of the location and the aarakocras if/when the party decides to go. Actually this location is already uncovered as Eku told the party about it in town.
Azaka thanks Gotur and everyone else for helping her. "Yes. I can feel the magic again on my feet!"
Azaka gives Phillip an 'it's ok' look as combat ends. She thanks him as well.
Azaka will now rummage through the 4 chests in the tower. None of them are locked. She finds:
One of the chests also contains a cloth-wrapped, wooden mask resembling a stylized tiger’s face. This is Azaka’smask of the beast. She claims it immediately.
"I can't thank you all enough for this. At last, my family mask is back in my possession. I shall repay you with all of my power along the way as we journey to Omu. I care not about the other contents. Here, have a look."
So, is the plan to use Gotur's magic on everyone who can't climb, one by one as the party gets down? If so, I think it'll be around midnight, 00:01 on day 6 once everyone gets down.
And then will the party camp?
Also, should we make another treasure tracker?
Let me know if I missed anything!

Round 6: Evo, Azaka, Gotur, Aarakocra, Pterafolk, Alton, Phillip, Eku
Evo is up! Maps are updated. Gotur could queue his turn as well. Azaka's going to ty to rip the bird to shreds.
Evo, Azaka, Gotur, Aarakocra, Pterafolk, Alton, Phillip, Eku
Evo looks up at the side of the stone pillar then over at Alton,
"Aye suppose they got this? Aye can't get up anytime soon. Let's go check the nests for Azaka's mask."
He lets the mace just hover in the air and his spirits to glitter around as he walks back into the cave to look for Azaka's mask.
Investigation: 1
His heart isn't really in it, mostly missing the end of the fight.
Evo, you find some various bones and nesting materials.
"RROOAAARRRR!!!" Azaka claws upwards at the injured pterafolk boss.
Claw: 24 Damage: 6
Claw: 15 Damage: 4
Both claws rip the pterafolk's body, although this boss looks stronger than the others and remains flying, albeit bleeding.
Gotur is up!

Evo wanders around looking in the nests while asking Eku,
