The Scourge Aasimar Radiant Consumption ability says:
Radiant Consumption
Starting at 3rd level, you can use your action to unleash the divine energy within yourself, causing a searing light to radiate from you, pour out of your eyes and mouth, and threaten to char you.
Your transformation lasts for 1 minute or until you end it as a bonus action. During it, you shed bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet, and at the end of each of your turns, you and each creature within 10 feet of you take radiant damage equal to half your level (rounded up). In addition, once on each of your turns, you can deal extra radiant damage to one target when you deal damage to it with an attack or a spell. The extra radiant damage equals your level.
So it looks as RAW it only ends when you will it or 1 minute has passed. So if you are reduced to 0 HP while using it you would continue to take damage, thus auto failing one death save per round. That sounds really dangerous and I'm wondering if anyone knows if its been erratad or has experience with it in game.
No errata yet. And yes, it's as stupid as it seems.
Basically until you end it as a bonus action you'll end up taking between 10 to 100 damage (1 to 10 damage a turn, for 10 turns), even if you fall unconscious. This also means anything that denies your ability to use a bonus action (and there are multiple things, and multiple spells, that can do this) after you've activated it can keep you locked in your own self-damaging state.
Now sure it can also damage the things that start near you as well - but it's a small radius and there can be easy ways to escape it. So you're only going to be using it in favorable conditions.
It's why I will never go scourge aasimar. Too many ways it can be used against you, not worth it.

Well, you're taking more like 0 to 5 damage per turn, since Aasimar have resistance to radiant damage. The Aasimar would need to be 3rd level or higher (doling out at least 2 radiant damage per turn) or have their resistance nullified for them to lose HP from it.
Still pretty risky, but at least you don't die from it at level 1 or 2.

The ability doesn't actually come online until 3rd level. And I asked my DM for his ruling and he houserules it that it does end on falling unconscious at 0 HP, didn't get anything specific on other status effects that disable. I kind of like the idea of it staying on unless unconscious though.

It's even more dangerous as once dying you'll survive only 3 rounds under it because 1 single point of damage result in a Death Saving Throw failure and you die at 3 failures.

You're absolutely right, and the flavor backs up the idea that this is intentional. If you're not comfortable with burning yourself up with holy fury, there's other aasimar options.
It is weird though, I'll grant you that. I don't know of any other player options that can kill you like that, aside from an unlucky roll on the Wild Magic Surge table at low levels I guess.
Update: Just bought the MotM races and the language has changed to take out the "you" from you and each creature within 10 feet of you.
Original version:

New MotM version:
Radiant Consumption. Searing light temporarily radiates from your eyes and mouth. For the duration, you shed bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet, and at the end of each of your turns, each creature within 10 feet of you takes radiant damage equal to your proficiency bonus. Until the transformation ends, once on each of your turns, you can deal extra radiant damage to one target when you deal damage to it with an attack or a spell. The extra damage equals your proficiency bonus.
I'll also point out that the damage has changed from half your level rounded down to proficiency bonus.

Yep, that sounds dangerous. And no, I don't think it has been errataed.

...Derp, you're right. But at the least you do take half the damage.
