I have a halflight rune Knight, and a growing shrinking items question came up in a recent game.
Assuming- Using Giants might makes all items I carry or wear grow with me and then shrink with me when the time expires.
What happens if I grab an item while large and wield/wear/stash in my pack. Will that item shrink with me when I return to normal sized?
To be specific, if I grow to large size and then pick up a battle-ax that was sized for a giant. Would that ax shrink when I do? What if I grabbed some jewelry and put on a necklace that was large sized?
I can't find anything official on this kind of thing. Just the usual enlarge/reduce "What if I dropped my weapon while large" discussion that isn't applicable here.
This is something that will likely come down to DM fiat but here is the relevant text of the feature, Giant's Might:
" . . . you magically gain the following benefits, which last for 1 minute:
If you are smaller than Large, you become Large, along with anything you are wearing. . ."
So right off the bat I can confirm that what you wear grows with you, no assuming needed! Also this effect lasts for 1 minute with no exceptions. So even if you fall unconscious or die before that minute is up you will still be Large until the minute is over.
As for what happens to your gear? To me it seems clear that the gear you have on you also increases in size for one minute, even if you then drop some gear, but I can see other people ruling differently. I would also say only the gear on you when you activate Giant's Might is effected, anything you pick up afterwords is unaffected.
The way I see it everything that was affected by Giant's Might returns to normal after 1 minute, even if it somehow ended up on a different plane of existence from you. If you pick something up after activating Giant's Might it stays the same and remains the same when Giant's Might expires.
This is something you should talk about with your DM though. Because if you manage to get a hold of an Oni's glaive, or something similar, it would be awkward to have to pull it out of your inventory, drop it, activate Giant's Might, and then pick it up all just so you could use a large size weapon you already have normally.
The text says that anything you are wearing grows for one minute. It does not say that anything you pick up also grows. If it never grows, it would have no reason to return when the minute is up. This is pretty simple.
I'd also like to address that a glaive's (I don't know why you specified Oni's) heavy property has no relation to how big the weapon actually is. Even if it grows with you, you would still be larger than Small and therefore the weapon would work normally. Some DMs might rule it differently, but honestly in the case of growing with a heavy weapon it would be pointless to rule it a different way.

Look at what you've done. You spoiled it. You have nobody to blame but yourself. Go sit and think about your actions.

The reason I mentioned an Oni's glaive specifically rather than a glaive in general is that an Oni is a large creature and its glaive is sized for a large creature. The reason this is important is that weapons made for creatures larger than medium have increased damage dice, for example the Oni's glaive deals 2d10 damage rather than the usual 1d10.
Normally if a creature tries to attack with a weapon sized for a larger creature the attack is made at disadvantage (or isn't possible at all). A Rune Knight has means of somewhat regularly becoming large size and so it is in their interest to acquire weapons sized for a large creature if a DM allows. I used the Oni's glaive as the example simply because glaives (and halberds) are in general the best melee weapons because of the synergy of Polearm Master and Great Weapon Master.

That all makes sense and is quite clear RAW. I'm more concerned with the returning to normal size part of the change.
DM fiat is probably the only good answer to this Q unless one of the designers jump on and give some "official" response.
