You can use only one Metamagic option on a spell when you cast it, unless otherwise noted.
The only Metamagic options that are otherwise noted are Empowered Spell and Seeking Spell. So, for the most part, no.

Annoying but fair. The build idea was that I use all my sorcerery points for distant spell, and then I cast the spell meteor swarm. Because I would have 20 sorcerery points, I would double the 1 mile range 20 times. That is equal to 1048576 Miles. Also equal to 1687519.494 kilometres. To put that into perspective, that is like a meteor larger than the sun heading to earth. Too bad this isn’t allowed tho :(

Increasing the range of meteor swarm wouldn't increase the size of the meteors, just how far away you could put them. And anyways, you'd need to have line of sight to everywhere you put a meteor, so that many miles of range would serve little to no purpose.

You also need to follow the other rules for spells, like line of sight and 'clear path to the target'.
A Clear Path to the Target
To target something, you must have a clear path to it, so it can’t be behind total cover.
If you place an area of effect at a point that you can’t see and an obstruction, such as a wall, is between you and that point, the point of origin comes into being on the near side of that obstruction.
Meteor Swarm itself requires you to see the target area: "Blazing orbs of fire plummet to the ground at four different points you can see within range." So increasing the range beyond either of these can't normally be done.

Ok I feel like this has been on here before but…
Can Metamagic stack? Like, can I use all my sorcery points on one Metamagic option? I have a cool build idea that would use this, but I need to know.
