With the new rules thrown weapon fighting for four attacks seems slightly more effective than melee for one reason:
Two Weapon Fighting Style only adds a max of 5 damage
Whereas Thrown Weapon Fighting can add 2 per attack (8).
However, I was just thinking that if you played with a quick draw style (only ever drawing a weapon when you are throwing it)… you could also use Duelling Fighting Style for an additional 2 damage per attack…
I wouldn’t allow the RAW loophole that seems to exist to do this all with one hand with the other holding a shield… but drawing you weapons as you attack is still fighting with both hands.

D&D, Youth Work and the Priesthood sadly do not typically interact... I do what I can!
This is one of those annoying RAW vs RAI. Sure RAW with the new draw/stow you can technically stack together multiple fighting styles to do stuff like dueling for your main action attacks plus Two weapon fighting for your off-hand attacks plus thrown weapon fighting on all of them. RAI it seems intuitive to me that that fighting styles are supposed to be mutually exclusive.
Personally, I'd rule it as they can either use Dueling or Two weapon fighting not both and can stack thrown if they throw their weapons. Thrown weapon fighting has a bunch of other drawbacks - e.g. if you are using a magic weapon the enemy can pick it up and use it to attack you or risking losing it on a miss if fighting on a cliff, or running out of things to throw, not being able to benefit from flanking or prone enemies, so that extra +2 damage isn't unbalanced IMO.
Arent we supposed to be epic legends in the making? how much advantage is it going to give one martial player over their partymates who will be passing them up exponentially with every level after 7

That's a terrible argument. By that logic, why don't we just add 1 to every single damage roll a martial does?
No rules prevent benefit from more than one Weapon Fighting Style feat simultaneously so if a player wish to invest in that way to make fun character concept, i see no reason to rule it out.

I dont see a reason why you couldn't do this, but you're definitely investing a lot of feats in to fighting styles for this.
Most I ever combined was with my Battlemaster Fighter/Kensei Monk combing Thrown Weapon Mastery and Archery to become a menace with Darts.
