I'm not sure anyone understands what you are asking :) ... I don't anyway :)
"BAG OF HOLDING Wondrous item, uncommon This bag has an interior space considerably larger than its outside dimensions, roughly 2 feet in diameter at the mouth and 4 feet deep. The bag can hold up to 500 pounds, not exceeding a volume of 64 cubic feet. The bag weighs 15 pounds, regardless of its contents. Retrieving an item from the bag requires an action."
The Bag of Holding always weighs 15 lbs no matter how much weight might be in it. You can put up to 500lbs total weight into a bag of holding, the bag still always weighs 15lbs. You can toss swords, armor, weapons, food, water skins, anything you like into the bag up to 500 lbs total. This means that you can carry more stuff that you could without the bag, however, the items still have their weight when removed from the bag. Keep in mind as well that the opening to the bag is 2 feet wide and it is only 4 feet deep which limits placing long items into the bag. For long items like javelins you would need the Quiver of Ehlonna.
Anyway to accomplish this, put items in the "Bag of holding " eliminating weight for those items. Or a way to approximate it.
I know what you are asking.
DDB will eventually add containers to character sheets (might even be soon, emphasis on might), until then the closest way to accomplish this effect is to click on each item, click customize, and set weight to 0.

Considering were in DNDbeyond this is good if the add CONTAINERS for items perchance an item gets Lost or stolen or is grappled away. thanks!
Any news on this? A DDB moved/is moving away from Trello notice is everything I see there.
Yeah, 3 year old threads sometimes have out dated information.
Anyway, yeah it is still planned. It might even be part of the general features character sheet update that is a goal for 2021-2022, but that update combines multiple "stuff in basic rules that can be done on paper, but not on DDB" and I'm not sure which ones exactly.
