In combat the main feature of contagion is to apply the poisoned condition without concentration. The disease won't kick in until they have had between 3 and 5 rounds. I do not do one 9n one combat but expect the fight to be over or nearly over by then.
In case the dsease does kick in, if you have lots of attacks slimy doom is good as you are very likely to stun. With a big single attack I would go with flesh rot.
Yes vulnerability is great for dps, yet I find slimy doom very appealing, if you get a hit in then there stunned, if there stunned they can't do anything, then you swing again with adv, if you hit there stunned again. Keeping them in the endless cycle of pain and death.

If is only stunned until the end of its next turn so in a 1v1
If you hit it is is stunned
If you have any more attacks on that turn they are at advantage
As the enemy in stunned it can not move or take actions on its turn at the end of its turn it ceases to be stunned
On you next turn you attack is not at advantage (unless you get it fron another source) until you hit it and stun it aga8n.

This. It's an un-save-able Poisoned condition that exists for 3-5 rounds. Very potent if you get that first hit.

Is this spell good? It seems so especially in one on one fights. I play in a west march and do alot of one on one fights. Moon druid 10 barb 1.
Which option is the best? cause it seems like the Slimy Doom one is. How should I use it?

Yes, as I mentioned the character is a pit fighter, 1on1s is his specialty. But your advice is helpful.
