Doing a one shot @ level 5. I want to build a brick wall, but be useful but not set to a fighter. What I was planning was artificer 2 (+1AC from infusion)/forge cleric 1 (+1AC)/fighter 1 (defense +1AC) plus a shield. This is on a tittle. So by my math I should have AC 22, but it's only giving me 20 and I have the place the infusion on the shield.
1) so do these not stack of is it a program error?
2) if the don't, any suggestions on race/class combos that would be similar
Gonna need some more info here... Can you link your character sheet? What type of armor are you wearing? I'm assuming you're doing a heavy armor build? If you are starting with splint armor, you'd have a base AC17--AC19 with the shield equipped. The Enhanced Defense infusion from Artificer and Blessing of the Forge from Cleric each work on only one item at a time, and those items must be non-magical. Assuming both your armor & shield qualify, that'd take you up to AC21, and AC22 with the Defense fighting style.
Following those assumptions, I can see that the character sheet works as intended for everything except Blessing of the Forge. There's no option to enhance a mundane item for BotF like there is for Artificer infusions, so you have to click on your AC field and add an entry to the "Additional misc bonus" section for the last +1.
Since you're seeing AC20, instead of the AC21 I see, I have to assume there's something you're overlooking.

You don't know what fear is until you've witnessed a drunk bird divebombing you while carrying a screaming Kobold throwing fire anywhere and everywhere.
I'm assuming that "tittle" meant "Tortle"? If so, a Tortle's natural 17 AC from shell does not count as wearing armor, and can't be infused as +1 from artificer or forge cleric, doesn't count as wearing armor to trigger Fighter's Defensive fighting style or Forge Cleric's Level 6 Soul of the Forge, etc. You can put the Artificer/Cleric +1's on the shield, but they're the same bonus and don't stack, which is why only one of them is applying for you.
Tortle 17, +2 Shield, +1 infusion or cleric blessing on shield = 20 AC. If you were any other race you would have Heavy Armor proficiency and could be separately enhancing your armor and shield for +1 each, and would probably have 23 AC right now in Plate.
Go warforged for race. Start with chain mail from fighter or cleric (16 AC) and a shield (+2 AC), blessing of forge the armor (+1 AC), defense infusion the shield (+1 AC), defense fighting style and integrated protection are automatic (+1 AC each). Total 22 AC, that's what you are after right?
I just re-checked my character sheet and found the problem. Tortles, due to size and shape dont gain any benefits from the heavy armor, but it doesn't prevent you from equipping. so when I equipped it, it gave me all the buffs to 22. Wanted a high AC character due to finding a cursed shield that makes you the target of all ranged attacks, even after dropping the shield, so I figured just hide in me shell for AC24 and let everyone come after me and the group takes everyone else out

Hate to break it to you, but Tortles aren't allowed to ever benefit from wearing armor... as a consequence of that, you don't get any benefit from the Defensive Fighting Style. You can only use a shield for additional AC, and you can't stack the Forge Cleric/Artificer bonus either.
Due to your shell and the shape of your body, you are ill-suited to wearing armor. Your shell provides ample protection, however; it gives you a base AC of 17 (your Dexterity modifier doesn’t affect this number). You gain no benefit from wearing armor, but if you are using a shield, you can apply the shield’s bonus as normal.

Well, max current AC, that Shield infusion can go up to +2 at higher levels (though if you're building around already having a specific magic shield, I'm not sure you can count on enhancing it with infusions). But if high AC is important to your character, there are plenty of other items out there that can nudge you up a little higher like Staff of Defense and Ring of Protection, or your DM may even be willing to homebrew some sort of amulet that lets you apply your class features that apply to armor to your natural shell instead. Wouldn't hurt to ask, I doubt DM wants you stuck with useless class features that will make you unhappy.

I'm going to make this way harder than it needs to be.

20 is the current max AC for your character. :/
