From what we have seen so far is a step in the right direction for rangers and half casters in general, I’d like to assume. But one glaring failing I’m noticing is, if this is the scaffolding, why not let half casters cast more of those lower lvl spells. They are already getting their spell levels slower, 2nd lvl spells at 5th lvl in comparison to full casters being at 3rd level spell at this point, etc. Would it be so bad to give half casters 6/5/5/5/4 in terms of their leveled slots? to have only 4/3/3/3/2 in the end game when full casters get this set up at literally at level 10. And yes I get why they are called half casters(literally just noticed this trend thought the relation was primarily based on spell levels they had access too and the slow progression) but give the half casters something over the full caster in these lower level spells at least considering they don’t get 6-9th. Is two additional slots seem like too much?
Personally I’d think this MAY/COULD slow down the Paladin multiclass-master-race ‘issue’ just allowing more slots, as well as those slots not seeming so precious as to only hold them for smites-power(yes this would also give them more smites) rather than actually using named spells.
Asking before the survey so I know how to better answer things.
so 25 total spells (proposed up grade) vs 15 (existing total) vs 22 total (full caster at level 20)
so why should a half-caster get more slots than full caster; particularly when the highest level slot is 5? (this is a full ten slot increase over the existing) (granted it is only 3 more over the Full caster at 20)
This seems similar enough for those tiers, just 1 less 5th level spell. Additionally almost all of these classes, except maybe ranger, is probably going to get some permanent prepared spells, ranger+hunter gets you two such spells, and that'll probably be the least we will be seeing, I reckon. Bard gets an additional 5 spells, So I really don't think any change is needed.
Yeah I see no reason to change it. Spellcasting is not their Forte so they should absolutely not get more spells than full caster. They are there to supplement, not to be their core.

Half casters rely on melee or class features, rather than spells, to deal damage. Their spells are simlpy not powerful enough. This is why they don't use their spells as often as spellcasters, they mostly use their spells for control and support. They don't need that many spell slots.
Half casters use casting to support other capabilities, they don’t rely purely on spells for their main function. Paladins have spells, but they also have extra attack and heavy armor. They’re melee tanks that use spells to boost their damage and prevent teammates from dying, but at the end of the day melee tanks that still use weapons to attack things. Casting isn’t their only thing. They don’t need or deserve as many spells as the party wizard.

I am not seeing it. Explain it to me.
A full caster gets 4/3/3/3/3/2/2/1/1
a half caster gets 4/3/3/3/2
