in the most recent Unearth Arcana WoTC decided to give classes expanded spells lists and offer variant class abilities, now throughout the online discussion I have seen people say wow that’s really cool, and other saying it’s bad and is gonna hurt DND and some people think it’s a cool idea but it needs work and current version just won’t cut it. Now I respect whatever views you possess on this new UA however some people our acting like it is the end times and the only thing they can do is shout on a form page, so I am here to remind you that WoTC takes feedback on these things, it’s in playtesting for a reason, so that they can feed back and make it better to make the majority of people happy so those people intern buy there products. So people go to there survey and fill it out and voice your complains because of enough people bring it up there might be change and then you can enjoy it to, wizards gave us a way to help them make our game better, so let’s help them, ok.

Marvarax andSora (Dragonborn) The retired fighter and WIP scholar - Glory
Brythel(Dwarf), The dwarf with a gun - survival at sea
Jaylin(Human), Paladin of Lathander's Ancient ways - The Seven Saints (Azura Claw)
Urselles(Goblin), Cleric of Eldath- The Wizard's challenge
Viclas Tyrin(Half Elf), Student of the Elven arts- Indrafatmoko's Defiance in Phlan
Recalling that Wizards allows the nameless faceless mindless Internet mob to design their games for them instead of the experienced professional game designers they're retaining on their staff for some reason or another (clearly not for designing games, that's our job), just about the only way people have of influencing the eventual design decisions that get made is to shout anyone else who might dare to give feedback contrary to what they like/want into submission.
Now is when the war can be fought, and so be fought it shall.
no it isn’t, we should be working with wizards and offering feed back not just shouting on forums. At the end of the day yes wizards has the final say I’m just saying we should the surveys they give so they can try and understand us without seeing all of this pointless shouting and bickering

5e is a phenomenal example of why public playtesting should be a design tool, not the sole means by which you make your game. Heh, if Critical Role had played any other system and DDB hadn't somehow managed to survive, I imagine Wizards would be halfway through their next desperate course-correction and the "Next" playtest for 6e now. Because most players are shitty game designers, and nameless faceless mindless Internet mobs are universally shitty game designers.
Good point OP! People seem fixated on little things and rattling on about how they'll ruin the game when (a) these changes aren't implemented (b) they haven't actually been playtested by the critics at this point, only theorised over and (c) there may be other changes that interact with these ideas anyway. TBH I see that a lot of players are just very resistant to any change.
Let the UA run its course, offer constructive and specific feedback when the time comes, and otherwise continue as normal.

No, Wizards does not have the final say.
