When you're a Lv10 Renegade, you can have 2 Minor Upgrades and 2 Major Upgrades for your gun but at Lv15, the Renegade get the following ability:
Right Gun for the Job
At 15th level, your skill with your firearm can adapt to any situation. When you finish a long rest, you can replace any of your Firearm Upgrades with a different one, though you cannot have more than two major upgrades equipped at a time. You must still meet the prerequisite of an upgrade in order to benefit from it.
So my question is this:
"Can I use Right Gun for the Job to change the ratio of upgrades on my gun (i.e. 2 Major/2 Minor, 1 Major/3 Minor, or 0 Major/4 Minor)?"

Why write it like this then? Why even include the bolded line if you can't swap a Major for a Minor or vice versa, so long as you only have 2 or less Majors?
I guess rereading you could maybe. But up to DM. I guess it's there so that people don't go swapping everything to major, and deal more damage than a lvl 20 zealot. I've changed my mind: ask DM. I might allow it, if they wanted to get a minor upgrade for major. Sorry, but rereading made it more clear to me

Honestly, the minor upgrares are better than the majors.

No. You can only change the upgrades. It also says you can't have more than 2 major upgrades.

Why I'm asking is that it's very oddly worded.

Hence, why I was asking. The major upgrades are all damage-based but the minor upgrades have lots of versatility, which I like.
I think that they should switch what they called the upgrades. Adding an extra barrel to your gun feels more major than flaming rounds.
