Summarized back story. Essentially my character is a wild magic sorcerer and was "born that way". She made a packed with a demon and became a Sorc/Lock/Pal for a while. While under his blessings she had to roll on the wild magic table every time she cast a spell of level 1 or higher. No random chance, just happens. She also could, at a cost to her own HP reroll on the table for a different outcome. Well this was short lived since she used it I think twice and then got taken down in battle. The druid who had been trying to help her decided to slit my PCs throat and reincarnate her in hopes of removing her from the demons grasps. The DM pulled me aside in between sessions and we hashed out what would happen and I decided to switch to full sorcerer and "escape" their grasp for a time, but the demon has found my PC and has been kind of hunting the party.
Reason for bringing this up is my DM apparently loved the chaos rolling all the time brought and is now wanting to work with me again. Their words: " I want it to grow but I want it to become dangerous." Atm their thought is they want "Sorcerer Point" usage to have a wild magic type effect and are looking for some sort of positive from the possible negative outcome.
I'm kind of at a loss in thinking of something, I came up with the last, I guess you could call it a "curse" and they loved the concept and while they enjoyed how the story played out are bummed it was gone so fast. Now they would like to express my PC becoming more powerful while increasing the instability. Any ideas would be appreciated. I love my DM and our game, I don't mind randomness and chaos, but I do want a balance in negative and positive effects.
Houserule we used for wild magic surge triggering:
On casting a spell of 1st level or higher, roll a d10. If the result is equal to or less than the spell's level the surge triggers so you roll on the wild magic table.
As you grow and get more powerful spells, the greater the opportunity for chaos. The more chaos you trigger, the more times your Tide of Chaos is refreshed for your benefit.

Wild Magic surges, in general, have both positive and negative effects. Roughly half the table is pointless nonsense that doesn't affect anything save fluff, and the other half is split fairly evenly between beneficial effects and detrimental ones. Cybermind's houserule is a good one for more frequent surges, and having regular access to Tides of Chaos is a reward in itself.
