I understand the idea behind ship combat in 5e. Ship combat is hard to translate into a game. But I find turning and facing fun in a realistic and tactical strategy way. But I may be biased since I've wanted to be a pirate since I was 5.
I also get the creature models for ships, but prefer magic and gadget modded terrestrial ships.
