Not sure which thread to put this in so it goes here
the spell manager for the arcane trickster rogue subclass doesn't enforce the enchantment/illusion school restrictions, nor does it include mage hand as a cantrip automatically and lets you choose 3 different cantrips. is this intentional? are the spell restrictions optional rules?
I don't have any issues with the removal of restrictions but i do wish the default PHB settings were also the default for the ddb character creator
(if there's a different thread i should put this in please lmk)
The spell restrictions aren't optional rules. Looks like either they couldn't implement it in the character builder and rely on players to be honest or something broke. You should probably report this in the Bugs & Support forum.

Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
It's not optional or a bug, the automation just isn't supported. You'll just have to read the feature and follow the rules, same as if you were writing spells on a paper character sheet.
