So me and my group have tis strong belief that all dice have a soul, probably sounds dumb, but we have our reasons. I recently got a new set, and I wanna try and see what kind of soul they have, because these ones are hard to get a good read on.
The first idea that came into my mind came into my mind was a character that can temporarily change somehow, and when they do, use these new dice somehow. I kinda want it to be a change that maybe he can't control, or maybe has difficulty restraining himself during.
Wild Magic Sorcerer immediately came to mind, Druids and Lycan BH make a lot of sense too. A player in a previous campaign I ran played a Cleric that used different dice sets for healing spells, damage spells, weapon attacks, and specifically Divine Intervention.

What's a build that would work for this?
Well racially, you're looking at maybe a Shifter or a Changeling. Class-wise, maybe something that has access to wild magic?
You could go with a Order of the Lycan Blood Hunter

I forgot about blood hunter, and I'm pretty sure my DM will allow it. Thank you for the suggestion.
Other options are Barbarian (Rage) and Druid (Wild Shape) for temporary, hard-to-restrain transformations.
Wizard (Gandalf) of the Tolkien Club
Or any spell caster with "Polymorph". :-)
