So, i got the master tier suscription for the waterheist/mad mage storyline and i create the campaign and share the content so my players could use the rulebooks that i have.
But as i soon discover my players could see the waterdeep campain book.... is there a way that i could share ONLY the my rulebooks...
Yeah, it would be great to be able to choose what you can share, down to every purchased product. That is almost a given function to have in a product such as DDB!
This is my number one complaint regarding DDB. I'd love to only be able to share what I want to share with the campaign. Right now, it's not a huge deal, I trust the players, but being able to take the temptation out of the equation would be nice. Unfortunately, it's been on the development stack since day one. :/
Let´s hope that is something that they can do as soon as posible. I don´t mind if i cannot select every single item that i want to share, as far as i can select that only the rule books are the ones that i share i don´t mind.
For now, i let them create their character and then i stop sharing, that prevents that they can see things that i dont want them to see, it´s not ideal, but as far as i can do, is functional.

Hi there ccherrera,
unfortunately at this time that's not possible. :(
The product team understand the difficulties that this can cause and a fully granular improvement to sharing/campaigns is in the development stack.
This should allow the DM to define exactly what content is shared or allowed within each campaign.
Until then though, this isn't something that can be done.

As far as I understand, it's getting close to the top of the stack, as it's becoming more and more important to have as a feature.

Let the players create characters and then stop sharing is a solution.
I will wait to buy adventures on DDB until they fix this issue. Again, why they didn't implement it from the start is a mystery for me as a DM.
Is this still a thing or have they fixed it? 🤓
The content management on Campaigns can handle it book by book now.
