While I am new to D&D and have only had two sessions so far in the last week, one per session. I have been thinking about starting a D&D campaign one of these days, using the standard campaign adventure printed but also including one-off quests as a homebrew content using Magic the Gathering Cards. I found some links.
I can vouch for Matt's side at least, as his content is really good and he's a really intelligent, thoughtful designer. I don't use MTG stuff in my games, but I trust his content!
I would say, give it a try, see how it works at your table. If your players are into it, then do it again. If not, that's completely fine, you can scrap the idea for future games or just flavour it to be much less MTG-ey.
May I ask, what adventure are you running?

I started doing a bunch of conversions for MTG to D&D but found it rather overwhelming trying to find decent creatures/cpells to use as mtg has roughly 25 years of creation behind them and some 15,000+ cards in their back catalogue.
Rob76 thanks for the link that is cool, although I was thinking of using the cards to create one-off encounters\quests and using the instants as one-off scroll spells just to give some flavour to a printed adventure.
GGeckos - I was going to start with Mine of lost mine of Phandelver than move to Tyranny of Dragons. Oh thanks for the link to the podcast have added this to my list.
I completely forgot to include Guildmasters Guide to Ravnica which is the campaign setting that deals with the mtg Ravnica setting, it has a small bestiary of creatures and some abilities for characters aligned to the guilds.

Awesome! LMoP is a fantastic adventure. I'm running it right now for the 5th time. It doesn't get old because it's easy to run and each group has dealt with the adventure differently. Tyranny of Dragons is also an interesting adventure. It was written before the culture of play around 5E was really set in stone, so be sure to adjust it and flavour it to your own devices!
Rob76 mentioned above that Guildmaster's Guide to Ravnica is a MtG dedicated source book. You can use that to help with some of your conversions. It's also worth noting that Mystic Odyssey of Theros is another MtG book that is also one of my favourite 5E Supplements.

There are some bits called Planeshift (link here to previoous thread about them: https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/dungeons-dragons-discussion/unearthed-arcana/1339-mtg-planeshift) which deal with a few of the mtg settings which might give you some additional help

I love the Planeshift articles!
Innistrad actually has an entire chapter devoted to converting Curse of Strahd to Mtg.

And thanks for checking us out!
Oh Theros, I blanked that out due to heliod being the bane of my mtg exsistance for a while, fortunately I found Ashiok and all became well.
