I think the homebrew content creator is awesome (for the most part), but its a shame that you can only create a subclass for a warlock, giving them a new patron, and not be able to create a new pact with extra invocations provided. Would you go for this if possible? Have you created any? You can share them here for the time being. Here's mine:
Pact of the Mirror
Your patron bestows upon you a 4 ft tall floating mirror. Depending on your patron, the mirror's appearance takes different forms. A gilded one for the celestial, a dark hardwood for the archfey etc. The mirrors hit points are a d4 for every level you have in warlock (it levels with you) The mirror counts as small and can occupy your space. You can mentally command the mirror to move up to 25 ft as a bonus action. If it is destroyed, you can spend an hour communing with your patron to receive a new one.
The mirror reflects images around it, including yourself, which can be confusing for those who see you. While the mirror is within 5ft of you, any insight check made to deduce your mind has disadvantage. In addition, it provides a mental barrier, reflecting any unwanted telepathic abilities. When a creature attempt to read your mind, their power is bounced back at themselves and they read their own mind instead.
Eldritch Invocations
Smoke and Mirrors (Requires Pact of the mirror) As a bonus action you can give yourself advantage on a slight of hand check. You can use this once per short rest.
Black Mirror (Requires Pact of the Mirror level 5 warlock) As an action you can cause the mirror to show your foes a skewed reflection of themselves. This works like the Cause Fear spell at level 1. You may do this a number of times per long rest equal to your charisma modifier.
Duplicitous Duplicate (Requires Pact of the mirror level 7 warlock) As an action you can cause your mirror to become a duplicate of you that works like mirror image, but this duplicate can occupy a different space than you. You still roll to see who is hit, but the roll is only choosing between the two of you. You can use this twice per long rest.
Fragile Transport (Requires pact of the mirror level 9 warlock) As an action you can step into your mirror and still mentally command it. You are considered to be on the same plane. You can use another action to step out of it. If the mirror would be destroyed, you appear in the space it was in.
Reflect Spell (Requires pact of the mirror level 12 warlock) You can target your mirror with an attack spell and bounce the spell off of it, allowing you to hit creatures behind cover or no direct line of sight, provided you can guess the creature's position. The total distance must still adhere to your spell's range.
Double's Strike (Requires pact of the mirror level 15 warlock) When a creature you can see (or yourself) is targeted with an attack and the mirror is between the attacker and the attacked (or occupying the same space), you can use your reaction to cause the mirror to make visible the reflection of the attack, targeting the attacker. Half of the incoming damage is reflected back at the attacker, the other half the mirror takes. If because of the attack the mirror is destroyed, any damage over its hit points is dealt to the creature being attacked.
i think its a really good idea but the 4 foot tall mirror might make stealth alittle hard😁. maybe you could give it the ability to shrink to pocket size?
Oo this is fascinating. I kinda dig the idea of just always having this giant mirror floating behind you. Also the more I read of your invocations, the more I was convinced that it would be as useful as the other pacts. A suggestion for an invocation: something to do with true sight? Or detect magic?
Also, man I wish we could homebrew warlock pieces on this site. Warlocks are one of my favorite classes in part because of invocations and I just know there would be some amazing offerings out there.
oh thats a good idea! maybe like for a level 7 option, you could make the mirror ignore illusions in its reflection and always show the true form of things.
Hmm. I think I would put it higher than 7th level. True Seeing is a 6th level spell, which most spellcasters dont get access to until 11th level. Now the invocation isnt quite as powerful as the full spell (unless you want to add seeing into the ethereal plane) but it being around full time.... thats pretty powerful. I would say that's at least 10th level if not higher.

Ah, this might be a good idea to have as part of the base pact. Kind of like the pact blade can go poof, the mirror can go smol
choose one of the following classes bard cleric druid wizard and sorcerer you learn one cantrip from thats classes and gain proficiency in one skill from thats skill list (yes that means any skill for bard) the cantrip counts as a warlock spell and uses your charisma mod as your spell casting mod

while the invocations for this pact are fun and strong does the base pact have any effects at all besides being a mirror and floating
