Hello, I'm creating a subclass where one feat is extending spells prepared limit for a sorcerer.
It essentially is a feat that allows me to pick:
at lv1: 2 spells of lvl 1
lv3: 2 spells of lvl 2
lv5: 2 of lv 3
lv7: 2 of lv 4
lv9: 2 of lv 5.
The imitation of expanding the number of prepared slots works great, but I can't scale it.
What I'd like to have is lvl 1 player to select 2 spells with this feat, and on lvl 3 feat spell selection will extend with 2 additional dropdowns of spells lvl2, etc.
How can I do that? The only thing I managed to do as a workaround was to add a bunch of replacement feats, each offering more spells, but that requires me to modify my character optional class features when I reach the required levels.
The best and easiest way of achieving what you want is probably making a copy of whatever subclass you're using, and then adding in the spells as a feature.

Look at what you've done. You spoiled it. You have nobody to blame but yourself. Go sit and think about your actions.
Don't be mean. Rudeness is a vicious cycle, and it has to stop somewhere. Exceptions for things that are funny. Go to the current Competition of the Finest 'Brews! It's a cool place where cool people make cool things.

Thank you, as I said at the beginning, I'm already doing custom subclass, so I think you missed my question entirely :)
Buy anyhow, I actually figured out how can I do that.
I added a feat with 2 spells to choose from Sorc list of level 1 that'll be prepared, but won't count toward the usual list (count as known: no, always prepared: yes, consumes spell slot: yes)
Then I added feat options at levels 3,5,7 and 9, unfortunately, I was not able to add 2 more spells to choose from directly when milestone levels were reached, but I could pick an option (only one), and after doing so the player can choose 2 more spells after reaching each milestone.
With that, I essentially extended the spells known list with 10 prepared spells that will cost a spell slot., all that with one subclass feat
You're right, I did misunderstand what you were asking. I got confused because you said feat, but you actually meant feature. It's a silly distinction, I know, but it's an important one.
There's actually an easier way to do what you're trying to do, no complicated options necessary. To the right of the Always Prepared box is Available at Character Level, which lets you make all the stuff in that given spell thingey only available once the character reaches the level. Make a couple spells with a 1 in that box, a couple spells with a 3 in that box, a couple spells with a 5 in that box, etc. and it should do what you're trying to achieve more simply.

Edit: I meant class levels

Ah, I said level, but I meant level in class. This option won't work for class level unfortunately
