Can you be the heroes that fight back the tides of chaos risking to engulf Krynn entirely and restore hope to a broken world?
I am rerunning a homebrewed Drangonlance campaign I made last year, based on Krynn and set in the first years after the Cataclsym, where the players find a world shattered and forever changed, abandoned by the gods, and teetering on the edge between civilization and terror. Will you rise and tip the scales of history towards stability, or see them topple and the remaining flickers of civilization fully snuffed out?
If you are not familiar with the Dragonlance lore around the Cataclysm, please note there are debuffs that divinity-based abilities and spells will encounter. None of these are permanent or meant to 'balance' the classes: this is just a reality of the world lore that the players' actions will be able to influence.
I welcome new and experienced players who would like to join this in-person and on-paper campaign. The campaign is set in the immediate few years after an apocalyptic/mass-extinction level event, so there will be dark themes, but there will be no mature/objectionable content from me or tolerated by me at the table.
The goal is that we play weekly with a group of 5 players; I typically run sessions as long as we have 3 PCs available.
Post here with any questions or your interest, and we can set up a Discord to plan a session 0.
Game: D&D 5.5e Group type: Face-to-face Experience: All welcomed Location/Timezone: My house in North Park Hill, Denver; hoping for session 0 in late October or early November pending my availability (we're still unpacking from our move) Schedule: Every Sunday except holidays, undecided on exact hours but probably either 1300 - 1700 or 1700 - 2100. Roles sought: 3-4 more players (already have 1) Game style: Semi-casual: Rules matter, but we're here for fun. I aim for a balanced game in a dark setting, giving plenty of space for role playing, puzzles, and combat as the group wishes. Our session 0 and game play will help this evolve to the group's preferences.
