Hey there! My group is always looking for new players! We play Sat and Sun 7-10am pst over discord, it’s 21+ and we do voice acting and roleplaying! If that’s something you can do or are interested in, just find me on discord: creative_toad
Hello, my name is Leland and I am currently running a nautical adventure called Call From the Deep, Sundays 8PM EST. We are just a few sessions in, very friendly group, for two of them this is their first RPG campaign ever and the experienced players are all very welcoming and helpful. Game is still in very early stages, if you would like more information you are welcome to reach out to me on discord at lelandpalmer.
If you're interested in a paid game and available on Monday afternoons EST, I have a Heroes of the Borderlands (recently-released Starter Set) game ramping up to start on Mondays at 1PM EST. It's geared towards beginners, and it can even transition into a more full-fledged campaign afterwards if everyone is interested.
Check it out here, or on my StartPlaying profile here. Pregenerated characters are available if you'd like one. All are welcome!
You don't need to know all the rules to play. It's like 365 pages for just one book of rules and there are like 50 rulebooks.
Roll your DNDBeyond character, then "View" it, then click on various words like "Intelligence" or "Stealth" and the rules will be made availble. Click on the Numbers under or next to "Iniative", "To Hit/DC" and then "Damage" to simulate a combat round and you'll see dice roll right on the DNDbeyond sheet. Imagine yourself in an Locked prison cell what Skills could use in there? Obviously you need to get out. Roll the dice, and imagine what the resulting number indicates, if it was a good roll how does it benefit you? What if you spend more time doing what you did and roll again? If you imagine there's some other person there with you and helping you, then you roll twice! Don't know what the skills are? Click on their names, all willbe revealed.
Always be learning your character /character sheet in stages like elementary,middle-school,high school, college, omnipotence and the DM will handle the other things.
