Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online via Zoom Experience: Veteran (4e, Next, 5e) Roles sought: 2-4 Players Location/Timezone: United States (I travel a lot) Schedule: Evenings when we play, the schedule is a bit wonky but will usually land on a Tuesday/Wedenesday when we play. I only play when I am traveling out of town, but can play a LOT when I am. I usually will be able to give at least 3-4 days advance notice before a game and I am hoping to have a session zero this coming Thursday (July 23rd). Since we're online you can play from anywhere with a decent connection! Players will be managed on D&DBeyond (yes, I have a DM sub so we can share) Game style: Alright, so the Game Style is a Modern/Eberon style of gameplay. Imagine if the world of Eberon kept on evolving and we got up to a generally modern (21st century+) timeframe. There are airships, trains, personal vehicles, etc... There is also magic, swordplay, gunplay, and the internet (via your very own EyeStone!). I plan on using quite a few specialty modules that I am tweaking as well as having an incredibly open world style adventure. I've got a ton of modules in my head and in my shelves that I can easily adapt to 5e and to a modern style adventure. You can read my player notes that I've put together so far at: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1791VZ76_GNbzDywBgXZQvo6Vz-7VJRryk6Vig6uM1Tg/edit?usp=sharing
All custom items, sublcasses, etc will need to be approved by the DM prior to gameplay and we are using an extended point buy system so we can be a bit buffer. I am hoping that we can just start around level 4, but if you want to ease into the game I am fine with starting at level 1 so you can have some time to explore the world as newbies a bit more. My encounters will always push my players, but I don't go over what you can handle (most of the time). I am pretty good at anticipating my players actions and will usually have a big branch of adventures ready to go prior to any campaign day (night).
I am following this thread, so please reply with any questions or requests. I am going to put a firm cap of 4 players on the game, however, since I don't want to bog us down. My ideal size is about 3-players (though 2 is fine, too).
