Angels are the divine construct servants of the gods. They have no mind of their own, for the most part. When an Angel somehow develops their own mind, whether through a connection to a mortal or another reason, they fall. A fallen angel is rejected by their god and banished from their domain.
There was once an Angel that somehow was born with a mind of its own. It was born fallen. They were known to mortals only as the Angel born dead. Nobody truly knows how it happened, but some believe it was caused by Lonely, the embodiment of isolation. This Angel was rejected by their god and was raised among humans. This fallen Angel befriended a young boy who had a special connection with the afterlife. He could speak with the dead. One day, that boy became sick. Even with the fallen angel’s powers, which weren’t as strong as a normal angel, he couldn’t be saved. He died within a few days. After the funeral, the Angel never left the graveyard he was buried in.One night, while the Angel was at the graveyard, refusing to part with his best friend, even if he was dead, a group of cultists ofZael, the god of necromancy, who originally created the Angel, tried to dig up the boy’s grave to use her corpse. The Angel tried to stop them, but he died in the process. When he died, his conscious appeared in the nightmare palace in the shadowfell, the home of the dark powers. There, the dark powers, including Lonely, offered the Angel a deal. The Angel would be reunited with his friend, and he would be given the power to fight back against the necromancy god, in exchange that he became their servant and helped them with whatever wicked schemes they were plotting. He agreed, and, using his new power, fought back against the cultists of Zael, and protected the dead and their graves, as well as their funeral traditions. He was reunited with his best friend, and they lived in the nightmare palace with the dark powers, but they were both granted with the ability to travel between planes as well as immortality. The Angel born dead decided to dedicate his endless life to helping the dead find their way to their afterlife. To help with that, he created the nightjars, birds that helped him ferry the souls of the deceased to the afterlife and helped him punish those who disrespected the dead. This gave him the nickname, the nightjar prince.
*fallen angels are basically as powerful as normal Aasimar.*

I love this lore! It reminds me of an RPG called Demon the Descent. I’ve never actually played it (everybody I rp with in real life just plays D&D 5e), but I have heard about it, and it’s supposed to be really cool.

There was a hero once. No one remembers his name, as it was scratched out as part of his funeral rites, but he was a true hero.
He was born in the Nightmare, a plane of torment and darkness, but he brought light, hope, and joy to everyone around him, even the monsters. He was naught but a poor farmer, but nothing would break his stride. Whenever he fought, he was as merciful to his foes as he could be, giving them repeated chances to repent, and killing them quickly and painlessly if no other option was possible, even though he knew that by the laws of this plane, they would return upon death.
His kindness saw him blessed by the Titans, giving him the powers of the harvest. He could bless fields and beasts, even greater than a Tantalatian Vampire could, and he was filled with the divine power of Destined Death: when he killed a foe, her could take their skull, keeping them from coming back and allowing them respite from the cycle of torment the Nightmare inflicts. However, as it turns out, not even a blessing from the Titans could protect him from the Unravelling Plague.
When the Plague hit, he did everything in his power to heal the ill, despite his magic being too meager to heal the hellish sickness. He comforted the dead and dying and was legendary for bringing a radio with him everywhere to calm the infected hordes. But they knew that once they died while infected, they couldn't come back unless something extraordinary happened. It was an awful situation, and when he caught the Plague himself, he simply went to his tomb, turned his radio to his favorite hits, and lay down. He didn't want to infect anyone, even if that meant dying alone and forever.
About a thousand years later, a group of necromancers attempt to defile the catacombs where he lies. A group of adventurers, contested by a group of powerful boss monsters. They barely noticed when the radio turned off.

Let him who is without sin cast the first stone.

He's from the same setting, so that was intentional. He's sort of a wandering threat, kinda like the Alien from Alien Isolation if it played oldies hits at full blast on a radio embedded in its chest.

Well, he has a bit of the obsession that comes with undeath, but yeah. He's closer to Lawful Good than Chaotic Good at this point due to his odd new obsession with collecting skulls, but given that the world is overrun with bloodlusted adventurers I think he's still good.

Adam and Eve, contrary to popular belief, were not the first humans. They were the first animals. They were created by the gods to fill the world with life. Despite the fact they were created by the gods, they are from the feywild and they were fey. They traveled to the material plane and filled the world with their children, which, thanks to fey blood, could adapt and change drastically over just a few years. And so, all animals on the material were born. All of these animals have a trace of Fey blood left in them, which gives a rare few the ability to talk. If a talking animal has children, those children can also talk. Sometimes they gain more supernatural powers as well. Animals not born of Adam and Eve, such as Waterfowl and others created by other gods or monsters, have no fey blood in them.
Adam and Eve still live today, as spirits, falsely worshipped by mortals as the first humans. This has given them the powers of overlords.

But how would gun combat work in DnD 5e? In my opinion it doesn’t make sense to only get 1 shot off every 6 seconds and so on for extra attacks. And then there’s automatic weapons and shotguns, Any ideas on how I can make it more realistic?
No! I didn’t. What did you do with werewolves?

I made them hillbillies instead of cannibalistic monsters, and based their clan structure off of real wolf packs.
