So, things in Dnd only do what they say they do. Since there isn't anything saying that the cannon has any of those properties, it doesn't. Also, considering every aspect of the cannon is tied to you as the caster, it would stand to reason that you need to be able to see the creature to be able to target it, especially since it doesn't say otherwise.
So,
1- You can't see through your cannon and if you can't see the target you can't attack it. You could attack where you think it is, but that is a whole other thing.
2 - No, you need to be able to see the enemy to use the cannon to make an attack. Think of it as a magical weapon. You are the one doing all the things. It just can be done from a bit of extra distance.
1. dark room cant see my cannon does this mean i cant use it or can i see through the cannon like if it was dark does it have its own light
2. if the cannon is around the corner can it see an enemy even if my character
Dark Room:
You can use the cannon whether or not you can see it.
You can't see through your cannon in the sense of remote vision, but since there's no rule stopping you from using the rule you do have to dictate its cosmetics, you could make the cannon transparent and thereby see through it.
The cannon doesn't emit light on its own.
Your cannon can't see anything, regardless of corners.
