I ruled you rise 20 feet while still being held onto by the grappler as long as your combined weight doesn't exceed the limit. Once you're up there, though, you're stuck as long as you're still grappled.
This is based on the wording of the spell Levitate. But wanted to see what others thought and if there's any official explanation about Levitate being used to break a grapple (or while grappled).

Blood Frenzy. The quipper has advantage on melee attack rolls against any creature that doesn't have all its hit points.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1 piercing damage.
This would actually be an awesome thing to do grapple someone levitate up 60 ft (3turn) and let them go. Since the spell wasn’t effecting them they would drop like a rock.

Your move speed would actually still be half, but yeah, it's doable.
Not a bad move for a buff Air Genasi, honestly.
But the amount of damage would be very, very small all things considered. 3d6 for one action and three rounds of work - and that's if the victim didn't break the grapple and fall 10 feet.

RAW the grappled condition ends if anything moves you beyond the reach of the grappler.
RAI the grappled condition assumes that if something manages to move the target, it's going to be sudden and forceful. It's not unreasonable to bend the rules in this case and say the grappler can continue to hold on if they want to (the grappler can always choose to let go at any moment.)
