Pretty sure I know the answer to this but both Mage Armour and Draconic Resilience do the same thing raise AC to 13 and Dex mod adds on top.
When you aren’t wearing armor, your AC equals 13 + your Dexterity modifier. Draconic Resilience
The target's base AC becomes 13 + its Dexterity modifier. The spell ends if the target dons armor or if you dismiss the spell as an action. Mage Armour
I can't get both these buffs running at the same time together can I - i.e Base AC10 + 3 for Mage Armor +3 for Draconic Resilience +3Dex mod (for example) for an impressive AC19 for a half elf swanning around in a flimsy robe! Obviously that'd be great but I don't think it's legit. Obviously if Mage Armour read add 3 to your AC it'd be fine but sadly it doesn't...
Any thoughts?

It is a shame in a thematic way as the idea of a magical barrier over a hardened and naturally resistant skin could work, but it would be OP in game terms..

Take shield rather than mage armor, and you have your magical barrier over a hardened and naturally resistant skin.
Cant forget my mage blade singer bugbear fighting with a longsword... Level 5. 30 ac untouchable by physical mean as long as he that spellslots for shield. Or if the oppoenent got a crit.
13+dex(5)+int(5)+haste(2)+shield(5) = 30ac
Granted i had uber stats and started with 20 str and 18 intel. But pretty much nothing else though.
Obviously he died cause he got cocky on lowlife and got critted.

In 5th edition D&D, many such things are provided as an AC calculation, specifically to prevent the AC stacking issues from previous editions.
In short, you can't stack them. :)
Some spells and items do stack and they specifically list that they provide a BONUS to AC, such as Shield

No, two different methods of AC do not stack.
As I thought, thanks for the speedy responses. :)
